There's a free version of GameMaker Studio 2 and a paid version, I use GameMaker Studio 2 and it's really good, Also there's a full tutorial series on youtube that has you make an RPG in GMS2, I'm following through it and you learn alot of good stuff. I hear Godot is really good too and it's completely free.

Thanks for the feedback and ya I originally wanted her to have no weapon once she woke up from the nightmare and find guns along the way but I couldn't figure out how to code an inventory system lol. Thanks for playing!

My first game for a game jam, I used GameMaker studio 2 and I really like it.

The game I made is inspired by my favorite horror game series Silent Hill.
