*****I'm delighted to address the M O D request for a more straightforward explanation. It appears my previous response was too subtle for his discerning taste, so let's break it down to its simplest form:

The "Toxicity in Games Roundtable" is where people discuss toxic behavior in video games.

I hope this helps clear up any lingering confusion. If you need further assistance deciphering basic concepts, don't hesitate to ask.

🎵 As a musician and composer, I'm beyond excited about the upcoming game jam! The Michigan Music Hall of Fame Inc. is doing incredible work to preserve, celebrate, and promote the rich musical heritage of Michigan. Their future virtual center promises to be a world-class hub for musicians and artists, offering recording and performance facilities, fostering community collaboration, and preserving historical documents and memorabilia. It's an honor to be a part of this creative journey, and I can't wait to contribute to this cultural legacy. Let's make some unforgettable music together! 🎶

THIS LOOKS AWESOME!!!  CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY IT!

I was like 20 seconds late...  :(  But here it is  https://www.yahaha.com/app/spaces/draft/a058b2e2-4971-44cf-8565-6d2e69d20c21

:( I DID NOT MAKE IT IN TIME.

As the clock ticks down and the pressure mounts, I'd like to wish you all the best of luck in this thrilling adventure of creating AI NPCs. Remember, it's not just about winning, it's about the hilarious and inspiring journeys we take along the way. In fact, just two weekends ago, I used YAHAHA for the International Space App Contest in Pittsburgh and won "Best Use of an Open Source or 3D Game Engine." 🚀 So, you're in good hands with this tool!

Now, let's get those creative gears turning, add those quirky trigger events, and craft NPCs with personalities that could rival any video game character out there. Who knows, you might just stumble upon the next great gaming sensation right here. 🤖  Game on, and may the funniest, quirkiest, and most inspiring AI NPCs win! 💥🎉 #GameJam #AIAdventures #GoodLuck

Clarification of Ryan Lee Eicheldinger's Contributions to Team 8 for XR BRAIN JAM 2023:

I am writing to provide a formal clarification of my involvement in the collaboration with TEAM 8 during the initial ideation phase and the subsequent tasks I undertook.

To offer context, I played a role in the initial ideation phase alongside TEAM 8. My contributions extended to the preparation of necessary documents for TEAM 8, as well as the creation of certain assets. Specifically, I developed 3D Female Character assets, 3D assets, and various forms of Artwork/Video intended for potential use in the project.

It is important to note that these assets marked as NOT USED were prepared and made available, but circumstances resulted in their exclusion from the final project.

Unfortunately, during the course of the project's development, there were significant planning inaccuracies originating from CMU that impacted not only my participation but also had repercussions for three other individuals involved in separate teams here in Pittsburgh, PA. These inaccuracies led to my decision to discontinue my involvement in the project during the jam.

I wanted to ensure that the specifics of my contributions and the circumstances leading to my departure from the project were communicated accurately and transparently. I appreciate your understanding of these complexities and any actions taken to address them within the project's context.

If you require any further clarification or documentation regarding my involvement, please feel free to reach out. I value the professional relationships formed during our collaboration and remain open to constructive communication.

Ryan Lee Eicheldinger (helped with collaboration with TEAM 8 after initial ideation as well as filled out documents for TEAM 8 and created **NOT USED** 3D Female Character, 3D Assets, & Artwork/Video   but had to drop during the jam because of inaccurate planning coming from CMU (which also effected 3 others on different teams here in Pittsburgh, PA)

As a passionate game developer and creator, I've had the privilege of collaborating with various talented individuals and teams on itch.io games. These collaborations have allowed me to contribute my skills and assets to bring unique gaming experiences to life. However, there's a pressing issue that I'd like to address today – the importance of proper credit and recognition for contributors.  It's no secret that the world of indie game development thrives on collaboration. Countless artists, musicians, programmers, and designers come together to create the games that players love. Properly crediting contributors is not just a matter of ethics; it's a way to acknowledge the hard work and creativity that each team member brings to the table.

I've been fortunate to work with some incredible game developers and teams on itch.io projects, pouring my heart and soul into creating assets that enhance the gaming experience. Unfortunately, in most instances, I haven't received the credit I believe is essential for all contributors. This can be disheartening, especially when we pour our creative energies into a project.  If you're in a similar situation, it's crucial to address it in a respectful and constructive manner. Here are steps that can help resolve this issue:

  1. Communication: Reach out to the game developer or team and kindly express your concerns about not receiving proper credit. Often, this can lead to a positive resolution.
  2. Review Agreements: If you have a contract or agreement, revisit it to confirm the terms of credit and attribution. Share this with the developer if needed.
  3. Itch.io Policies: Check itch.io's guidelines and policies regarding crediting contributors. Refer the developer to these policies if they are not adhering to them.
  4. Community Awareness: If your concerns remain unaddressed, consider leaving a respectful comment or review on the game's itch.io page, informing the community about your contributions and the lack of credit.
  5. Legal Consultation: If necessary, seek legal advice to explore your options.

While addressing the issue of uncredited work is important, it's also crucial to learn from these experiences. When collaborating on future projects, ensure that credit and attribution are discussed and agreed upon beforehand. This proactive approach can help prevent similar issues from arising.

In the spirit of fostering a healthy and collaborative indie game development community, I believe it's vital that all contributors receive the recognition they deserve. Let's work together to make sure that credit is given where credit is due, celebrating the creativity and talent that enrich our gaming experiences.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Let's continue to create amazing games and give credit where it's rightfully earned.
