I love the concept! Pretty hard too.

Not sure, I've gotten good feedback though so I'll consider it! The base is here, so it wouldn't be too hard to add more characters, art, and days.

Thank you! That was my exact strategy - simple but really polish it.

Thank you so much!

Interesting concept! I haven't seen anyone else approach the theme this way. Points for creativity!

The bird is cute! Normally I would say I don't love floaty platformers, but it's perfect for this! Really sold the effect.

Had a lot of fun with this one! Reminded me of Vampire Survivors.

Thank you! I love the cash register sound effect idea, will definitely add that if I continue.

Yeah thanks for the feedback! I was running out of time but actually wanted a mix of obvious orders (monkey wants banana) and some less obvious ones. Glad it seemed to work out though! Def agree with ability to fix mistakes.

Thank you so much! Also btw I think your game was maybe my favorite of the ones I've played. Great theme and sense of humor!

Hey guys, just wanted to mention through the power of modern technology I have ported my game from C# to GDScript so it can be played in browser! Check it out!

This was my first game jam and I feel the impact of not uploading a web version. 😄

My game (Deja Fruits): https://ultralightleam.itch.io/deja-fruits

Fun idea! Great submission.

Cool concept! I think with some polish to the movement and more levels, this could be published on Steam!

Agree with others that the background made it hard, but the game was fun! Sometimes I would get stuck on walls though when trying to wall jump though.

Oh nice another game where you run a fruit stand! It's interesting to see the different approaches. This one is about remembering which customer is evil, but mine is about remembering the orders of your customers. Cool to see!

Took me too long and too many deaths but it was fun! It must've been hard to design the level so that it worked with each stage and still felt fun.

These customers need help frfr. Thank you!

I like the strong theme in this. It feels consistent and gives the game a recognizable personality. Puzzles were fun too. My only constructive criticism would be to refine the platformer feel.

Had fun with this! I thought there were too few objects in the game and it would be too easy, but I found myself failing after enough iterations. Great!

Great puzzle game and loved the cut-scene. Glad others pointed it out. I had to see it for myself!

Love the aesthetic.

Fun game! My game was a similar concept of remembering fruits, but you play as a fruit seller at a fruit stand. I love the design of the fruits here though and the game is simple but well executed.

Fun and polished game! How did you do the warp effect?

Fun game with great visuals! There's no audio though, right? Looks so polished, I think audio would've helped complete it.

Art.

Hey guys! I just wanted to mention that I uploaded a Linux copy of my game since I saw a few comments about Linux users. Please give it a try and let me know if it works! Link to my game below.

Also, I just wanted to remind everyone to check out the submissions that need ratings! My game had few ratings but since has gotten a number more. But I still see lots of other games that need more attention!

Thanks all! This was a lot of fun!

My game: Deja Fruits

Strange vibe but I dig it.

Unable to play this one.

Probably my favorite submission I've played so far. Great style, absolutely no horror, and fits the theme/object requirements well. Great game!

Zip the files up in a single folder. You'll get more people to download that way, but also this seems like it could just run in a browser?

Fun! I loved the idea. I feel like progression should've happened a little faster for a game jam, but really liked the idea. Simple but on point.

Really cool game! Good amount of content given the time constraint and I love the polish. Didn't make it to the end, but big fan of Steve.

Pretty good! One piece of constructive criticism---I recommend adding some sort of visual feedback for when an enemy takes damage. Makes it feel more fun and I wasn't always sure if I was doing damage. But good submission!

Thank you so much! Glad to hear how much you enjoyed it!

Thanks, means a lot!

Muchas gracias!

Cute game with good stylistic choices. I liked  the credit sequence.

Simple concept executed well.

Game looks cool but I think the gameplay is lacking. Shooting isn't very satisfying and there wasn't great visual feedback. Didn't really know if I was actually killing anything at first.

I like the visual style, but the CRT-effect might be too strong for reading text. Also the jumping and movement feels a little unresponsive and floaty. Really cool presentation though and I liked the replays.
