I've been trying to figure out how to do this, but I can't anything that shows me how to do this. Can you tell me how to do this? Thanks for the feedback

As the title says I'm struggling a little, I've made a few games and posted them here but I don't seem to get much interest in my games. And I'm not for sure what I'm doing wrong. My games don't score well in the gameplay department, or overall fun. I would appreciate it if you guys could take a look at my latest game and give me some tips on what I'm doing wrong. https://twenty-games.itch.io/stuntman-jim

Looking for some feedback on my latest game.

If it's not too much I would appreciate it.

Never played a game before where my character was literally going crazy. Good job

I owed this game after 10k I got tired of winning.

Yeah the second level is a little tough, thanks for playing and the feedback

got it

I looked up that game on stream, it looks really well done. How long did it take to make?

Thanks for playing. Was the movement hard for you or was it just hard overall?

This game should come with a warning label "Will cause severe confusion". Good job

Short but nice, the first thing I said after I hit play was oh my goodness what is going on here?

The screen was a little wonky for me. Instead of full screen it was windowed.

How long have you been making game for? I looked at your page and you have a lot of games on there

Cool I'm going to check it out later today

I like this game, but these controls have always been hard for me. I don't know what it is but moving and jump with the same hand is hard for me. Cool game though

This kind of game is a classic

Glad you liked it

Nice

Great artwork

The mechanics for this is great

This game is very interesting, also love the art style.

First off good game, and secondly how did you get the drive to be so smooth? My game uses forces as well but I couldn't figure out how to get the kind of control I was looking for.

Ok cool

Cool game.

I like the old school vibe to this game, the tank controls and the fixed cameras brought back memories. I couldn't get my shotgun to shoot, and the cursor stayed hidden after I died so I couldn't click anything.

I liked this game, music fit very well. It automatically quit when I died though.

Pretty nice game, the enemy split was a cool idea. And the animations were fire good job

Nice game

Okay I got you. I've been heard of Microsoft makecode.

Which game engine are you using? I think I'm going to try 2D for my next game.

Yeah, I get that

Are 2D games the way to go when it comes to game jams? I've been in a few game jams and I've noticed 2D games always seem to rank higher then 3D games. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks for the feedback, and I agree the controls are not as responsive as I would like which was a time issue for sure. Since sending in my entry I've since tweaked that exact thing and also did a couple of bug fixes and changed some of the things to the NPCs. The game definitely does not have a proper end I wasn't for sure where I wanted to go with it. Maybe you have an suggestion.

I don't think I'm going to have time for this jam, good luck though.

I'm not for sure if I'm joining this game jam but if I do you can team up with me. You can click me name to see what kind of games I've made if you are interested.
