Hello All,
This will be my second game jam in the Untitled series and this time I'm looking to put together a team to tackle the game jam this time instead of doing it solo. See below for my plans, and if you would like to join, feel free to reach out here, my discord (cameramanklein). or email (jklein2296@gmail.com). I would like to try my hand as a Lead Dev, but if there are others who would like to take this time to offer their expertise and knowledge, I'd happily defer to them.
Looking for 2 Game Developers, 1 Sound dev and 1 Artist.
- Gameplan :
- Start of Event : Team meeting to discuss Theme and create our 3 Gaming Pillars (using UE5s game development standards) and basic Game Design Document. This will include divying up workloads based and setting up perforce versioning control for all developers.
- Setup the teams pureRef reference atlas to ensure we are all working towards to the same goal.
- During the Event : Each member will be left to their own devices because I don't like micromanagers.
- 5 Days before the End of the Event : Team review of game and progress to determine if any scope cuts are needed, this will be the time to fully determine if we can complete the full game on time.
- 1 Day before end of event : Final team review, credits, and final upload.

My background:
I am a novice game dev with the last 9 months of experience in UE5 and Blender. I have a basic skillset but there is nothing I can't learn on the spot and am currently self employed, looking to gain as much real time experience with game development.
- UE5 :
- Ability to create blueprints using components or interfaces
- Can modify existing programs to create new results
- Basic understanding of creating Materials and Material instances with organized and concise Variables for play test adjustment
- Knowledge and ability to use Perforce versioning control
- Can create some basic animations
- Can create basic landscapes and level blockouts
- Blender
- Ability to create basic models (low and high poly) with or without materials
- Can create and export models between blender and UE5 to create blockout assets.
I hope to hear from you, and look forward to another Game Jam!
