Alright, that's good lol. Could I know what browser you are using to play the game? That is like my last hope of finding this rat of a bug. Thank you!

No idea what the game was about.

Have to guess all the keybinds. There's a big invisible wall in the middle of the room. There are missing floorboards. The flashlight is quite weak. There doesn't seem to be death? The sounds and aliens look cool. Anyways, this marks the last game I have to review and leave a comment on. TWO MINUTES BEFORE THE END OF THE RATING PERIOD, I HAVE TO HURRY. I SHOULDN'T BE WRITING ALL OF THIS TEXT!!!!!!!!

4/10, I have a waifu?

More complex math. The animation doesn't match the speed. Clicking on the game removes the ability to type. Wayyyy too bright. More game mechanics like buffs and just more diversity, really.

5/10, I are died.

I think a battery for the flashlight and needing the flashlight to stun the monster would be great. I think multiple monsters appearing and disappearing would make it sooo much scarier. The sounds are really scary. A map with an X of where you are at all times would help, as I have no clue where to go to unlock the generator room, and I got completely lost many times. I don't think you should be able to stun the monster through walls. Probably the scariest game so far, only two left to rate (hope I make it in time!).

6.7/10, scawy.

Reported an anomaly because there was 666, but I went to wagon 0? The little air conditioner or whatever in the main screen. Not sure what the left click with xs is for. Doesn't seem to fit the theme.

5/10, left lick.

There doesn't seem to be much playing, more like clicking. If there were minigames or more choices, I think that would be way better.

4/10, sweet story and good art.

It is unclear what you have to do in the parachute game and there is no way of going back to the main menu it seems.

4.5/10

A bit lost in the game. It is unclear whether the nurses are good or bad, and they get in the way of where you want to go. The camera glitches through walls and I feel like "a" and "d" keys shouldn't make you rotate, not sure why you made it like that. You also shouldn't be able to see the pathfinding. This game is a very unique experience!

5/10

I find that the player is a bit too big. The controls seem a little too loose. Maybe an extra life / keeping the key in between deaths would be good.

6/10

Now that piques my fancy.

Don't worry about that, I love to hear that you have fixed it. I'll have to play it sometime this week! My 4/10 probably was a bit harsh, from the little I played, I'd imagine the rest of it being 7.5-8/10.

But you already did follow me 🤔🤔🤔

The sound seems laggy. Maybe a bit too difficult. Being able to exit out of the solve would be sweet. I think more mechanics would be genius, like power-ups, maybe some buckshot roulette thing.

7.5/10, I'm bad with words.

Does the tutorial not work for you both in the web and the downloaded version? You are the second person who has said it doesn't work yet for me there is no problem, it is starting to piss me off.

I think a tutorial that strips alot of the functions is needed.

6/10

IDK

5.5/10, my dreams are still crushed.

I'm phasing through walls, and I'm unsure what is going on. I have given up on trying to give more detailed feedback.

5/10, my hopes and dreams were crushed.

This is a great game. I find it to be a little confusing and complicated. At first, you should remove the extra rooms, traps and items. Unfortunately, the game loses a lot of points as it isn't really horror atleast to me.

8/10, best game thus far.

The game reminds me of 60 seconds. The time you are given is a lot, and the beeps don't seem to match it.  A full-screen mode would be beautiful. I appreciate the explanation of why it wasn't in English. I believe there were a few games that came from the same place, but I didn't say why.

5/10, nice little game.

The atmosphere is dialled in. The heartbeats beating faster and slower were amazing. The jump scare of the weird thing is cool, and the monkey that was sitting on a chair was really funny and scary. Why has no one ever said I looked ugly?

The hitboxes seem to be quite bad. You shouldn't be slipping down the stairs. The code never seemed to get used. A sprint would be sweet. On the little ramp, you seem to be glued to the ceiling. After flicking the lever, I got glitched badly, not sure what happened.

5.5/10, good little experience.

Definitely did not have a three-second window. Need a way to know what camera you are on. The game overall seems pretty bare. The SFX isn't too shabby. The camera button should be more clearly labelled as such.

4/10, it's a game!

The jump and flashlight feel a little weird. Unfortunately, I will have to give all oners. I'm surprised that I would do that for a game, but this is simply just a template build, no shame or anything. I'm sure you could have done great!

2/10, a little adventure.

(1 edit)

I have no idea what to do.

The premise is good. I liked that it shows the actual time, and the AI is nice.

The beginning has way too much reading. Once inside the vehicle, I have no idea what to do. I didn't realize you could move until much later.

2/10, wasn't really a game, more of a short story.

Gotta smoove man.

(1 edit)

Very confusing. But I prevailed.

The scenery was a bit of a treat. The guy jumpscared tha flip outa me LOL.

I think the game should be explained a lot more. Perhaps another level or more mechanics would make this a lot better.

6/10, short and scary but not scary.

I'm unsure what I have just played.

The theme of looksmaxxing was funny. I like the mechanics of the game.

The enemies disappear if they are too far and reappear barely before hitting you. No escape menu. Also did not really answer the "How did you implement the Theme: Death Game in your game?" question.

6/10, I got mogged.

(1 edit)

I typed in one word and then gave up.

Game seems alright, liked the art.

More words. I think the UI glitched after I died, I couldn't click any buttons.

5/10, this is a short one.

Unfortunately, I didn't have that much time to play this game. It does seem like a longer type of game. I got 67 behind the bookshelves, but got stuck there.

The mechanics are genius! Super creative game, and the puzzles are very promising.  Having the other character follow you around is an interesting choice.

The escape menu doesn't seem to scale with resolution. The camera can glitch through walls, so you can see the other side. The character that is following you does seem to walk through objects. The "jumpscares" or whatever you wanna call the black guy could get worked on. When I tried to interact with objects, I instead chatted with the other character. This means multiple things. The text is wrong. The character follows too closely, and an easier way to exit the chat would be good. There were also massive lighting bugs as triangles of darkness and light covering the walls.

7.6/10, I would have loved to have more time to play this game.

I'm sorry that you are encountering this problem. Are you playing on the web? I don't have a Mac myself, so I can't replicate the problem, and I have no clue where to even start trying to fix it. You should definitely try downloading the game if you have been playing on the web. If you did first download, then I guess I'm wrong about uploading the old version, which is weird.

The flashlight and the walls blocking vision were really cool. Having the gamemaster watching was creepy. The beginning sequence was confusing as I didn't know what I had to do, but once I did, it was cool. I left after getting caught in the second map.

The game needs an English version. I am surprised that the base game isn't in English because the jam page was made in English. Definitely need objectives as the player has no idea how far they currently are. The player seems to be off-center. The art does seem to be all over the place. The walls don't match the floors. The objects don't match the floors or walls. The characters kind of match the items.

5/10, not that creative and it is practically scripted that you lose a few times to actually win, which doesn't seem like a mechanic but a flaw.

I might play again after reading what you said was the second objective.

The SFX is good. The aesthetic works well with the camera visuals. The environment could use a few more objects, but I do like it. The animation for the gun and the text is amazing.

The green buttons don't seem to make much sense. The middle one goes down first, and I lost when only the middle one was down. I assume them to be lives. The opponent's green button just disappeared instead of going down. Throughout half of the game, I was saying that looking around would be sweet, but then I tabbed out, and I could look around. I then noticed that holding ALT allowed me to look around, but when tabbing out, it glitches the game, which will deduct a point. Lastly, the sound is just a tad bit too loud.

5/10, the loudness and camera bug make the gameplay stiffer.

Yeah, I thought so too, just wanted to make sure. Well, I am quite new to making games, you can see the last one I made on my profile. For this game jam, I am planning a game where the player experiments with weird plants and exterminates the failed plant experiments by others. This would be done in a day/night cycle with a relaxing day and a high-risk, high-reward night. The environment is gonna be on the lines of a warehouse in the forest. If you are interested in joining, my Discord username is teen_rexy1.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I think that I accidentally uploaded the wrong version for Mac. When I build the Mac version on Unity, it seems to create another file instead of using the one I selected, and I duplicated the past version, so I uploaded the past version masked as the new one. To be sure, when you say you couldn't get the tutorial to work, there should be a prompt when you click the play button on the main screen. Did you get that prompt

The game seems great! The terminal was incredible, seriously genius. The thing is, I didn't go further than the first objective simply because of the Famous camera glitch. I'm pretty sure I know why it is happening. So, the camera glitch seems to be happening because the cursor is getting to the edge of the screen. This explains why higher sensitivity, pausing, and going into a different window help it. The SFX is great, art is great. Really unfortunate I couldn't play it. Really need to know what the objective is, and if it wasn't for Nave, I wouldn't have finished the first one. The problem is that once I reached the kitchen and the door wouldn't open, I didn't know what the problem was and if it was a bug or not. The options, too, are impeccable. I tried to give it a fair rating based on the little I played and what the others said. I wouldn't just give all ones because of the one bug. 4/10, the bug and unclearness renders it unplayable even if it seems like a great game.

PS, this will likely be the only game I come back to, if the bug gets fixed.

So I didn't get a friend to hop on this one. The controls shouldn't be on the main page where you download the game. The invisible dagger is weird. Idk what the gems do. Seemingly no healthbar. The first steps are hard to get onto if you don't jump. I think I should stop because I imagine most of the things are already under your radar. The camera shake and the castle are neat. This is my first game jam, and I am surprised that so many games are incomplete, which makes me feel better about my incomplete tragedy. 2/10, not playable or done. The redeeming factor (in score) is that this game is quite very unique.

Amazing game. It was short, simple, and sweet! Charging a car and having people come up to you is quite original. The different scenery was nice. The SFX and UI were decent. Now to the bad stuff. I feel like you shouldn't need to look at the car for it to cool down. I understand the need for a mechanic like this, but I don't think this was the proper explanation. I think a little tutorial would have been good. Like a tiny slideshow with 5 screens. Lastly the bar for the charge is quite hard to see. 6.7/10, I don't like stress.

I didn't think this far. This is my first review, and I'm already pissin' my pants. I'm not a horror guy. The game was alright, it has content. The flashlight was quite neat, and I liked that the cursor showed what could be interacted with. The atmosphere was great! I filled up the van, but I am not sure if anything was supposed to happen or if there was a next step. I found three problems. The first problem, the default volume is quite high, and you can't escape the generator's UI other than putting in a code. The second problem is that you have to jump onto the foundation of the building, and the table in the spawn area has no hitbox. The third problem is that the game simply has no death, although I admire your attempt to save that in the response. This is a neat game, 6/10.

I'd love to work with you, but when you say "for hire," are you asking for money? You keep changing up "work for" and "work with," and you haven't said a price, so I assume that when you say "for hire," it could be like a joke, but it could also be you asking for pay.
