Insanity. This game is just a wonder. At first I made the whole floor popcorn and thought I wasn't going to spend much time since it seemed I was going to get enough info fast, but I stayed for a good 20 minutes until I hit my last wall. Needing to press "w" to save and heal seemed a bit weird, but now it makes sense with all the rooms.I will definitely give you a follow. The gameplay is pretty sweet. It has good movement, skill expression and feedback. The story seems a little short and vague, so not the greatest marks. It is quite well presented, although I find the beginning leaves a bit to be desired. I think this game doesn't exactly have new gimmicks, but for some reason I do still want to give high marks on the creative scale. In a sense, you followed the theme in a creative way. The lowest score is definitely horror, there isn't much to go on. I think you could pass this game as not horror. It follows the theme but lacks some of the bonus objectives. My experience was 7.4/10. I am looking past a few problems, but with them fixed I would say maybe 8/10, the biggest improvement might just be to add content and rewarding the player.
Off rip, you can't really see the space around you, which I feel is a bit problematic. Each time you shoot an enemy, it seems to freeze the game, like lag. I wonder if you are trying to do a hitstop. It becomes super problematic when using the SMG. Maybe having the vine be more like a swing. The transition spots are weird, they sometimes aren't in contact with the other terrain, and I don't really feel any different aspect from being in a different room. I did also left once I was trying to go to the next room, but it just didn't transition. I literally had the vine pulling me into the middle of it, and I tried to move around and go onto the ledge it led to, but nothing. I assume you didn't get to finish the map, and that's why it didn't do anything. On the conversation of the map, I didn't really understand the goal of the game. Maybe having a pocket map where the player can, like, do cartography.
I am a big fan of this game, really. The different weapons are cool. The vine is a great way to maneuver and express skill. The texts throughout the map, like the reflecting one, are treats. There are quite a few enemy types, and there are vines, of course. Having the shotgun give knockback to the player would be very funny. I think this game has great potential, and things like some kind of upgrade and more easter eggs would do amazing in this game.

Edit: holy block of text, anyways. I think the thumbnail could be a bit better, some screenshots of the game and a downloadable version would all be small little details that help.
