Yeah, I wanted to implement an online leaderboard but making the local one bricked unreal for me for like an hour before I fixed it, and I've never really implemented online features into a game before so I didn't want it to ruin my submission. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyhow!

There isn't a way to "beat" the game perse, once you beat all the levels once it will set your total time on the local leaderboard and reset you back to the first level to get a faster time. It's just meant to be a small speedrunning game, but I'm glad you enjoyed the presentation!

Yeah, after I submitted it I thought it would be cool to actually input the parameters for things like player speed and the direction you'd want to move, but I don't think I could've implemented that in the time I had left.

Had 1st on the leaderboard, came back an hour later and someone had over 2000. I'll take 3rd . . . for now. Well done on the game! Although the cannon mechanics are a little hard to grasp at first.

Well, I am done rating submissions for the day so maybe ill go play the download version.

Really awesome! For some reason reminded me of an old DS game in that nice nostalgia way. I absolutely suck at it but my one run I did good on I had a lot of fun.

Great game! Had a lot of fun and it's oozing with style. Don't know if the sound bugged out for me or if there is no sound. Could be a problem with Opera tho.

Didn't really think about how little the healing mechanic was explained so that's definitely something for us to keep in mind for the future, and if we every update the game in the future we should probably add a setting to auto-heal at max charges. Also, yes we we're very strapped for time and had to cut things like weapons, enemies, and even the main menu, but I'm really glad you enjoyed it the second time around!

Sounds awesome man, can't wait to see what you do.

I'm glad you enjoyed ours, and I'm happy I didn't break yours. :)

One of my favorites of the jam. It scared the absolute hell out of me seeing that guy in the corner the first time, and when he appeared next to me breathing was terrifying. It made me take my headphones off cause I was worried about a jumpscare. I hope you guys fix the boss bugs once the jam is over so I can have another go at it.

I didn’t care for the gameplay that much but HOLY JESUS THAT BACKGROUND MUSIC IS BANGING. Anyways, the game is kinda boring, it just kinda feels like that one section of the Kid Laroi Fortnite concert where you just broke things while listening to music, which would be fine if breaking stuff felt good. The boxes would keep sliding away from me and/or not break which made it feel bad.

Chicken Massacre 👍

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm very picky when it comes to sounds in games. Also the team loves the healing animations and sounds so we're glad you liked it too.

One of my favorites of the jam. This was very fun and adrenaline inducing, albeit a little frustrating. The idea of using a light to destroy shadows but needing to be in shadows to avoid the light is awesome. My only gripe is the fact that even with the light turned off you WILL die to the Light Beings and that I kept dying on the last key as the Light being near it kept killing me through the wall, other than those tho this game is really fun.

One of my favorites of the jam. Very unique and fun idea, I didn’t really get the idea of contrast for this game though, might’ve just flown over my head. I loved the puzzles as they felt unique and challenging at the same time. Might’ve cheated when it came to the wall heart piece as I just stacked up books and jumped on them until I got it. Don’t know if that was intended but I had a laugh about it.

One of my favorites of the jam. I had no problems with it at all, the gameplay was fun and unique, the effect for switching between worlds was awesome. I didn’t get sent back to the beginning when I died. It’s just great.

One of my favorites of the jam. This was really fun as I like fast paced movement games, my biggest gripe is how there is absolutely ZERO air control and that made the game feel really clunky and unfun. Also encountered a bug on the final level where I would get sent back to spawn instead of the checkpoint.

One of my favorites of the jam. The setting is awesome and the gameplay is very fun and slightly terrifying. It scared the life out of me hearing the enemies approaching. My only gripe was how clunky and bad feeling the camera was as I had to swipe my mouse across my desk multiple times to turn around, but that's easily fixable.

One of my favorites of the jam. I loved this, really polished, fun gameplay. Just an all around splendid submission. The gameplay is unique enough to expand on this game in the future.

This just might be my number 1 favorite game of the jam. I don’t know if you guys intended for this to be a rage game, but if you did, it worked, and I loved it. The art style is very fun, the change in abilities via the dimensional shift are really cool and different enough to feel like each has its own strength. The level design has the main gameplay mechanic in mind and uses it to its absolute maximum. I really hope you guys work on this game more.

I definitely didn’t play this game correctly, I just found a box and used my magic powers to lift me up to the objective. It was very funny.

I'm glad you liked the style! I'm sure the artists will appreciate the kind words. Yeah, I should have made it easier to understand how to beat the game. There was a way in earlier tests but I thought it made the UI a little too messy, guess I should have made it better to look at so we could've kept it in.

Very clearly DMC inspired which I find really cool. Combat is ok if not a little repetitive. The part that made me really not enjoy the game is how awful the keyboard controls were. I should NOT have to have a controller on hand for a game that will only be on PC.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! We did have more weapons in development but we had to cut them for time, me and the team had a fun time with all the healing stuff so we're glad you liked it!

What in god's name have you created?

I had fun, it reminded me a bit of Dark Deception. Didn’t have any real gripes with it.

Very cool idea, gameplay was simple but fun!

I like the idea and the gameplay is fun, but it feels so sluggish. It feels like it takes forever to finish a room, not because it's hard, but because it takes 5 minutes to travel the room. It especially feels really bad on bigger levels.

The combat when playing as the knight felt really good, the matrix man however did not. So I was mostly just using the knight during combat. The music changing when hopping timelines is cool as well. I did have my expectations a little high for this one so I was slightly disappointed but all around a good game.

The idea is good, the execution is ok, the music is VERY annoying. The concept could definitely be developed into something more though.

The game just isn’t complete, a bunch of development stuff lying around, super buggy. Enemies kill and chase each other (don’t know if that is intentional). I don’t know what the objective of the game is (If there is one). This just feels like you had a grand idea but couldn’t complete it and just said “Screw it i’ll submit it anyways”.

I did not have fun, this game has major performance issues which should not be happening. I have a 3060 with a Ryzen 5 5700, this game jam game should not make my computer chug the way it is. It doesn’t help that the game just really doesn’t have substance. It’s just kind of disappointing. I feel bad for ragging on it cause I’m sure I would’ve liked it more if it didn’t run so poorly.

I don’t like browser games, so the entire setup was a god awful experience. I shouldn’t have to learn rocket science to play a video game. Otherwise the game is decent, not the best thing I’ve ever played but I enjoyed it for what it was. It however is absolutely not worth the hoops I had to jump through to play it in the first place.

It's not bad, the fact that I have to die to hit that one purple button is kinda frustrating. With some work it could be pretty cool though.

Was very hard to figure out what to do as it took me a good 5 minutes to learn I could leave the bell (mostly my fault as it tells you on the itch page). But even after I got out of the bell I couldn’t find fuel and even when I found something I thought was fuel I couldn’t tell if it was and was just confused the entire time I was playing it. I think if you had a few more hours to polish up the gameplay this could be an awesome game.

It feels a little bad when you don’t know where the sheep are and you are just wandering. I also got stuck at the very beginning because I didn’t know it was hold to interact, so I lost my paint and got progression locked. I love the trailing paint when you get above 3 sheep, it just itches a sweet spot on my brain.

The concept is awesome but the execution could’ve been done better. The attacking felt clunky, the taunt has absolutely no use and getting stunlocked by the enemies feels really bad. I also didn’t understand how the enemy spawning worked so on the first playthrough I just ran left and went so far away from any sign of life to the point where I had to restart. The background also makes me very sick.

Overall a very simple idea that is executed fairly well, I think the map is a bit too big for how many enemies spawn as it was very sparse until I returned to the middle where just big groups would find me, but they couldn’t really hurt me even in big groups. I had no use for the healing items across the map as I was always full health. The idea of switching between colors to attack different enemies is really cool and I think it could be expanded upon really well.

I’m gonna be blunt, I really did not like this game. The idea of switching between worlds is so cool, but the execution is so buggy that it really hinders the experience. I would get hit by things I was nowhere near when switching worlds, sometimes when I die I would just bug and have to close the game. It needs a lot of work but could be really awesome.
