Since this game is named "instant adventures - basic flavour" will you make a version with more content in the future?

I'm happy to hear that! I'm looking forward to the full version.

I'm currently playing a game with it and I'm mostly happy of it. My biggest issue is that the demo only lets you play the earliest parts of an adventure, leaving me with a desire to see more of the world that I've created. While I get that this limit is due to it being a demo, I really hope that in the future it will be extended a bit to include some more content or at least to showcase what the full version will include

Will you add more toolkit in the future?

The game is fun, but the free edition is basically unusable. All pages have a "paywall" that covers the bottom half, making them unusable since you can't see half of the rules. It would have been better if the 1 page rules were free and the rest needed to be bought.

I know it's early for making this question but the various Meddlesome Kids games will be compatible with each other? I'd like to use a character I made in this game in The Forever Never once it comes out.

I'm happy to hear that. Also, I have another question: will the new character creation system allow you to make alien and monstrous characters? I'd like to run a Swamp Thing themed game but I don't know how to make the character work in Dominoes.

I've given a quick look to these Back Issues and I have to say that they're very interesting and I'll try to use them the next time I'll play a game. However, I have two questions:

  • There will ever be a Back Issue dealing with the creation of settings, like cities and buildings, were to set games?
  • Can the rules of this game be used alongside those of Anyone Can Wear a Mask?

That would be interesting but difficult... Superpowered characters could try to stop or limit the effects of World War Three (or whatever other cataclysm is happening) or make them worse, but non powered characters would be sitting ducks forced to see the end of the world while being unable to do anything to stop it or limit themselves to save as many people as possible and stop riots and criminals from making things worse for the civilians.

I also raise the idea of an "endgame" Back Issue about the end of the Bronze Age of Superheroes and the rise of a new generation of Superheroes... one that's more extreme, obsessed by popularity and fame, willing to kill and cause as much destruction as possible in order to achieve their goals and more often than not are unknowingly pawns of the bad guys: the Iron Age Superheroes (aka early Image Comics superheroes like Spawn, Youngblood, WildCATs and more). Basically you're either given the chance to try to stop them from causing more damage or accidentally helping the bad guys achieve their goals even if they're much more powerful, have a better public image than you and have the support of politicians and/or big companies or join them and compromise your morals in order to keep the tabs on what the bad guys are planning and have a better chance to at least stop some of them, alongside some neat extras like a big paycheck and various helpful connections.

This game is awesome... Please turn it into a full game.

Hello! I'm working on an interactive novel at the moment. I'll be happy if you tried it and gave me some feedback about it so I know what to change...

Hello!

My name is TheLostLights, and I'm working on an interactive novel called Marionette Dancer.

It's the story of Mirabel, an human orphan that, after wearing a magical mask, gained magical powers and became the ruler of a race of anthropomirphic bugs made of gemstones. 10 years later, her kingdom is destroyed by another human girl that wears a demon mask and a monster, leaving her stranded in an unknown forest. Now Mirabel, alongside the help of a boy that can speak with animals, wants to find the responsibles for the destruction and make them pay.

I'm currently working on the end of Chapter 1 and I will update it tomorrow, but you can play a "demo" that covers the first part of it.

I would really like to receive some feedback since it's my first (sort of) attempt to make an interactive novel.

Thanks for you attention.

The "demo" of the first part of a interactive novel about masks, monsters and the apocalypse is now playable for free on any web browser!

The Plot:

Marionette Dancer is the story of Mirabel, an human orphan that found herself in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic bugs made of precious gemstones and found a magical mask worn in the past by their rulers that granted her incredible powers, becoming the monarch of them all.

10 years later, the day of the anniversary, a monster and a mysterious girl wearing a demon mask cause the destruction of her world and leave her stranded somewhere else. Now Maribel, alongside the help of a boy that can speak with animals, will try to find the responsible of that and make them pay.

The Game:

Right now, all there is of the game is just the first part of the first Chapter. But I'm working on completing it as soon as possible!

The complete game will include:

  • 3 chapters!
  • Multiple playable characters!
  • Text!

  • Lots of text.

  • Seriously, there will be  a lot more than this.
  • Extras, lots of 'em.
  • Secrets.
