here's the AUR

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wine-ge-custom

i managed to play it flawlessly using WINE GE. Maybe that could work for you

Nice visuals and the gameplay loop is solid. I just think the difficulty is too unforgiving, also gamefeel can be a little better

I love PCG and this is a good application. Sometimes the generated map is too unforgiving, so probably random walk isn't the best algorithm to go. A couple of experiments would make this game great!

Interesting idea, feels kind of something a pachinko machine would have.

I would like a bit more of direct interaction, but it's a nice minigame and a way to unstress

Such a beautiful love letter. It made me really happy. Thank you and i'll never stop making games.

not sure, i just jumped to the checkpoint where it said "you got jump seeds" but i didn't have any

Very good use of tools for sopme very nice looking character and assests.

Too bad i got soft locked. Couldn't get pass a small hole between two tiles. The tile generation definitely needs some fixes

The game is beautiful, the terrain is nicely put and the music gives it a sad but also hopeful atmosphere, and i love it. the characters breaks it a bit for me, small things like flipping the animation would have me it less weird

technical and design wise needs a revision, it is highly cheesable and i did not get the suposed jump seeds .

With extra work it can be a nice experience with a lot to tell. So keep it up!

Hey bappleseed.

Criticism from you would be much appreciated. Here is my game.

https://itch.io/jam/go-godot-jam-3/rate/1561821

Jade already played it, so i understand if its nor prioritized, but i hope you still get to it!

couldn't get far because game is brutal XD.

Design wise is nice, a bit metroidvania and i enjoy that. Also your pixel art is top notch.

Game feel is the thing that needs more work. I don't feel like my normal attack does anything, and the special powers feel a bit situational.

there is something shiony here so i hope it continues being developed

I loved the effects(both visual and sound) and the gameplay was pretty solid.

There is some problem with the difficulty. Ironically, the first boss was the hardest for me and they keep getting easier.

Fixing that while expanding the story and gameplay elements and you got a Solid title on your hands!

Not sure if i'm not supposed to be able to jump at the beginning of the game or if it's a problem with the HTML version. i couldn't do much as i run linux. Sorry

on the technical side si really good. tying the mutations to buttons definitely makes me panic during the game..... Maybe a bit too much.

I get the idea, but the game is too punishing, and sometimes it doesn't even tell you why.

Particularly, during the butterfly segments, there's no visual or flag that tells me " you can't go under or over the pilars", i just die.

the platformer side can use some extra polish on game feel, and maybe with the collision shapes.

I still had my fun so i congratulate you!

never played a typing game before, so the beginning was definitely weird and wasn't sure what to do, some small tutorial labels would do the trick to fix that.

After getting used to the idea, it was really fun. Definitely a new experience that i enjoyed quite a lot

artistically speaking looks good, the animations are detailed and with good references and key animations.

Gameplay wise i didn't feel the difference between upgrades that much, and the transitions did not help there.

there is a strong concept here that needs some polish

Sorry about that, the tutorial was not that well explained. You are supposed to drag the mutagens with your mouse from the bar to the map. Hope this helps and i'll be sure to make a better tutorial in a later build

Hello Jade. I would like for you to play my game and give me some criticism. Thank you !
https://itch.io/jam/go-godot-jam-3/rate/1561821

Combat needs some extra work done, but i had fun with the animations and sound effects. Good Job!

Cool concept. The progression based level design is really good.
I would set the screen size a bit bigger. Also the game feel with the buttons could be a bit more polished.

Evrything else is awesome. Well done!

Everything is so cozy from the art, the music to the gameplay itself. i would prefer that the same kind of fruits to be bulked in one inventory slot, but other than that is super entertaining

the intro scene was great. a nice way to get into the idea of the game.

The fireball sound effects made me laugh, the game in general is pretty funny and i love it.

I would change the currency from plain old money to something more fantastic like "slimy crystals" or something, it would keep the fantasy setting strong.

Very nice work indeed

Feels pretty Avant Garde, and that's definitely not a bad thing.

Not too much to say, it was an interesting experience. I could ask for a better explanation on the stats, but i think giving it away would be more detrimental.

I'm not 100% sure what's going on with the game. A better game tutorial should explain better the mechanics.

Still a solid try, keep it up

Thank you very Much!.
i didn't have time to figure out music, but for a future build i'll take your advice. I like the idea of relaxing sounds

Your comment made the effort i put in totally worth it. Thank you.

I'll make a better tutorial in a following build

everything on the artistic side is really good.

The neon aesthetic with the designs and music, and the main game concept is definitely eye catching.

The combat is where it needs some polishing. it doesn't feel satisfactory to kill an enemy or even hitting it.

I also really liked the paths based on level, nice way of telling us where is ideal or not to be.

I hope the projects keeps growing as it has potential. Great work

The aesthetic and the effects are amazing.

The collisions are a bit all over the place, got stuck in some places and key items would just fall out of existence.

I'm usually not a fan of horror, but this atmosphere was so cool. Hope to check the full version!

Surreal experience. The second puzzle has some minor bugs, but nothing that takes away from the coolness of this work. Congratulations!

A really neat concept. the Pixel Art Rats look really good with all their Costumes! It would have been cool that they could do different small gestures depending of its class, but overall a nice experience
