We definitely agree and we wish we had more time to work on the game, but due to issues of our original team not being present we had to make the game in 24 hours instead of 48 hours!

We'll be working on this game hopefully after Mark releases his video of the top 10 games from this GameJam!

We wanted to expand on that by yeeting items into other items, but we didn't have enough time to do so! I'm glad you found it just as enjoyable to throw a shark into space as I did! Thank you for playing our game!

Thank you! We wanted to make this into an endless type of game where you try and get as many points as you can with a highscore system, but we were really limited with our time and experience. We tried to add the lose conditions in the last few minutes, but failed to do so! We had all the sound effects for taking damage and the collisions were all in place, but we weren't able to pull through in time. Thank you for playing our game!

Thank you for the comment! We completely agree, we wish we had more time to put more stuff, but figuring out the coding of the tentacles took some time due to our original team having issues with joining into the GameJam.

We completely agree with your statement, we initially wanted to put so much more into the game, there was going to be the volcano erupting in the background and raining fire that you would have to use both tentacles to protect the boat with, a tsunami that you would have to block with your tentacle, cannon balls being fired at the ship, and much more. However, we had some issue with our original team and only had 24 hours to make the game instead of the 48 hours and had to cut a lot of those ideas and failed to make a scoring system, a pause system, a restart button, and all the other basic stuff a game would need. We know the bones are there and we think we'll try to make something more with it later!

Thank you! We were deciding either between a pixel art style or a more 3D style, but ultimately went with the 3D style due to our inexperience with Pixel Art coupled with the 48 hour deadline. Who knows, maybe we'll remake it one day with all the features we wanted!

You'll have to tell me one day how you made the arm that fluid and stretchy! We tried to do it with our game and it didn't work out that well. All in all an amazing fun game!

Great try on a Kraken game! It felt really nice to smash the ships and you really put a lot of effort into the animations! The power ups felt great to use too, the Rampage was a fan favourite!

I honestly think that if you're not in the top 10 of GMTK's video, then you've been scammed out of 48 hours of work. This fits the theme PERFECTLY and you made it look like a great!

I shit my pants, please don't put jumpscares in a game where I thought I was the killer. 10/10

Thank you! We know the game itself is still missing a lot of things we weren't able to complete in the given time, but we thank you for playing the game for a bit and enjoyed it!

Such amazing presentation! But there was no explanation or visual indication if I was doing anything better for the team by swapping our their armour and weapons. All I did was slam into enemies, pass my team their stuff, and then did that over and over until my team died.

This was really well made in both presentation and creativity! However, I didn't like how the camera was detached from the controls also if pressing w + shift was run instead of a toggle would have been more fun.

This was really fun! I think I had more fun crashing into everything and causing mayhem!

I think I broke the game by going to the answering machine immediately without doing anything else! The door at the beginning also opened somehow after I went into the dark hallway and moving out again! However, still 100 points on creativity and presentation!

I really love the art and presentation, but I found it a bit too easy because I could just spam the cloud main type thingy and keep the character running indefinitely! However, it's still a great game!

This was really fun! I only played 4 levels because I got angry from how fast the guy was walking! :(

Thank you for playing our game! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Thank you for the comment! I know what map you're talking about, it's usually the 6x6 board where you have to go in a S shape to reach the house. For that, it's 100% completely doable as we made sure that every map could be completed in under 15 moves which is just under 4 seconds. We put it there just to make sure that the game isn't too easy and if you want to reach the top 5 player board that you should be focused!

Thank you! Make sure you're playing the downloaded version because the house should actually have a little light that makes it easier to read on the board!

Thank you! We realized very late on that the timing puzzle could have been linked with the spike traps when they fall to the ground and it would have made the 6x6 levels have a shortcut from time to time, but due to time constraints, we decided to focus on the highscore system instead. If we had more time, we would have also loved to bring in the idea of multiple boards that you can hop through with different traps/obstacles/powerups! We'll definitely take it into consideration if we publish this on mobile platforms!

Taking an idea of dice rolling and creating a whole combat, defense, healing, shop AND rerolling system around it. I  would have never been able to think of this up in 48 hours, amazing job!

First off, this was amazingly presented, the art direction was perfect for this type of game. Sounds effects were top notch and the music was great.

My main gripe with the game is how the dice rolling mechanic doesn't enhance the game itself, but actually drags it down as it's very possible to just keep rolling 1s or 2s and not kill the enemies that take a lot of hits. I wasn't able to finish level 4 twice because of that issue.

Such a simple idea of combining a visual novel with the chance of randomness and having it show as different characters in the world! I would have suggested only giving like 5 rerolls for the entire campaign so people had to play with the hand they were given, but this was amazing!

Loved the art  style that you went for with the project, with a bit more polish this could even be better! One small complaint is how loud the audio is of the dice smashing against each other. Other than that, everything else is definitely great for the gamejam!

One of the best games this Jam! I love everything from the gameplay, visuals, design, everything!

As a puzzle game, this was really amazingly well done!

Thank you so much!

Thank you for the comment! We understand that it does get a bit repetitive, initially we wanted to add in multiple dice boards that could be a D20 dice, but due to time constraints of the Jam, we had to keep it to a max of a D6 dice.

Thank you! We really tried to create a game that that keeps you in that loop of trying to push you to keep trying to get into that top 5 leaderboard. Making sure the game felt fluid and responsive was very important to keep you playing!

Keep trying! We would love to see more varied people in the top 5!

Thank you so much! We really wanted to combine dice rolling with some form of fast paced arcade gameplay!

It was really hard to try and flip the dice! I would suggest the ability to rotate the pan in each axis somehow next time!

Love the atmosphere! I just couldn't figure out if there was a time limit or not, so I was just rushing through immediately.

Thank you thank you!

Thank you! We're really glad you enjoyed it!

One of the best games I've played this entire gamejam! A great simple concept that turned into a strong puzzle game, I had to stop at level 10 because that stumped me for a long while.

Edit: I just finished level 10, still a great game!

1. It would be better if there was a visual representation of where your mice is exactly!

2. Give us the ability to place down roads anywhere we want, so we can pre-plan future moves/pieces.

3. Rolling doesn't always give a piece.

4. You should explain clicking on a piece rotates it on the first level, I shouldn't have to finish the first level to understand that as a tip on the second level.

A simple fun puzzle game! Gives off calming vibes!
