This game is too hard for me. The holes literally follow you and more than one hole will appear on a platform. I saw some platforms disappear entirely. It is put together pretty nicely but damn is it hard!

Not really much to say about the gameplay. Looks like you got quite a bit done with the week you had available. I want to leave feedback that's actually useful.

I ran into a bug that broke my game and made me have to quit. I was on the first floor and had reinforced it to protect against mines. I hit the last mine and while the floor was breaking, I was holding space bar to dig a hole I was on top of. As a result, my guy got stuck in the crouch position as if he was still digging even though there was no hole there anymore. I was unable to move or do anything at all as my guy ran out of oxygen and died.

soldiers and workers don't do anything right now due to how rushed I was.

I basically got all the puzzles on my first try except that one. I think they were challenging enough. For people who don't play puzzle games, I think this was the perfect challenge. You did a good job. I imagine your if/and statements mustve been quite long. You did a good job on the logic.

Do tell what game design choices you liked for your own game! Funny thing is I have learned more about leaf-cutter ants and plan on changing many things. The ants will still forage but may not only have 1 role anymore.

I was playing on Windows 10, Google Chrome

Loved it and played for way too long. My only complaint is not being able to see who is hungry when they are all stacked on top of each other (or not seeing any bars at all). I found it quite difficult to manage them once I got past 10 guys. Do they seek out food and water on their own? It would be nice if they did, assuming you have enough food/water gathering spots for them.

I still don't know how to shoot. I put the game in full-screen and pressed space to begin the game but space didn't shoot like it's supposed to.

You were the first. Thanks for giving it a whirl.

After this comment, I did! It didn't even occur to me that I should do that.

Thank you. I feel like a lot of this was thrown together. I'm proud of the UI but it is mostly just functional ATM

Maybe you and I should collaborate on a project then!

Thank you. I actually played your game again after leaving my comment. It was even more fun since I knew what I was doing the second time.

I agree! I definitely need to develop some more skills so I can make that happen :)

Graphics deserve 6/5. Unfortunately, I didn't see any enemies and the game crashed after 1 minute. In that minute, I felt like the range for collecting crystals needed to be doubled so you don't have to be so pin-point accurate and can enjoy other aspects of the game, which I didn't get so experience. Looks freakin phenomenal though!

*Edit: The game crashed right as I collected the third crystal.

*Edit #2: Played again and collected the crystals much faster this time. I collected 4 and then got blasted into oblivion by.... I don't even know. Game Over "OBLITERATED" screen was super cool

*Edit #3: Played again and still don't know what got me. I noticed that holding an asteroid in front of me doesn't act as a shield. The asteroid is totally just visual and seems to have no collider.  It was disappointing to learn my only strategy failed me so miserably when I ran face first into another asteroid.

My high score was 200 and I played for over 300 seconds, to give you an idea of how my game play was. Here are some things I think might make the game more fun.

1. Just like in the classic snake game, make each food item grow the snake more than it currently does.

2. Make the collection range slightly bigger for food items.

3. Give some sort of warning when a mole hole is about to appear. Make make the mole object slowly fade in for 2 seconds before becoming a hazard. Two seconds feels like sufficient time to get out of the way but short enough to keep you on your toes.

4. Shrink the playing area by about 50% to constrict the player's movements more and make the player worry about running into themselves.

Tried playing this in windowed mode first and my character was running at 1/8 speed even though the animation was running at normal speed. I had to reload the game in full screen to play. Later, I fell and saw the wall approaching from behind. Quickly, I started teleporting like crazy to get away and it was a straight shot with no obstacles. I don't think I was supposed to be there. Eventually the floor ended and I began falling endlessly into space. Gonna play it again because the concept and visuals are so fun.

*Edit: I beat it. I recommend having a cool-down timer on the teleport, maybe with the option to string together teleports if you time the teleport properly. I didn't even see the last portion of the level because I literally teleported right over it. I have no idea what could've been down there.

I noticed that the hammer only swings down when the cursor is currently over a mole. I think this is a mistake. For awhile i thought my mouse wasn't registering clicks. I think it would be better if the hammer swings down no matter what and then check to see if anything is under the hammer once it reaches its full swing. I like to click before my cursor is over the mole and move as it is swinging. At least, that's the most intuitive way IMO. Theme and graphics are 5 stars though! Good job.

10/10, but mostly because I played until I ranked in the top 10. Hmmm. Since I got 6th rank, 6/10? NAW.... But in all seriousness, This was the most fun I've had in any of the GameJam games so. Good work!

I read the developer comment that tells you the answer to one of the puzzles. Without that, I wouldn't have figured it out. I got all the pieces tho! and then the game closed itself. I think it got sucked into the black hole I just formed. Why did I do that again? Who thought creating a black hole was a good idea? Pretty sure I died. Oh well, just got to play again! ...

I read the developer comment that tells you the... wait a minute... This feels familiar... It's a loop! Run while you still can! Black holes, man. They're crazy. Why did I do that again? Oh well.

I don't know what language this is so I only played for like 30 seconds. I gave audio and graphics 5 stars. The cut-scene at the beginning was also impressive to me so I'm giving game design 4 stars because I can only assume the rest of the game is probably thought out.

First impressions, I was going to rate this game 5/5 on everything but a few things stood out to me as I kept playing. First, the car sound is annoying to me. Secondly, the car feels way too drifty to me. It's like I'm driving on ice and it makes the game difficult because it's unintuitive to me, which brought my fun score down to 4. Despite these things, this game is the highest rating I have given to any game so far so good job! To end on a good note, the graphics and all other sound effects (besides driving) are amazing!

I like the concept and it played nicely at first but near the end, the prairie dogs kept losing focus and I basically had to pray they would stop goofing off in the corner so that I could finally win the game!

5 stars for theme!

5 stars for innovation and theme! Everything else... well, you play as a paintbrush. I want to see this idea expanded really bad!

Felt like I was rolling around in low gravity until I accidentally pressed the space bar, in which case I would skyrocket off the map. Fun concept but I think the physics are SLOW which then causes me to rush. I scored 0 points btw. Not my cup of tea but looks like it could be more fun with tweaks.

I have literally no idea what is going on. Only button I have figured out is Z, which is boost. I seem to have no control of the ship. Tell me how to play in a comment or something and I can leave a better rating.
