cute game!!! it's like an idle tower defense :P

that's a looot of zombies!

I wish the player gun was a bit more impactfull :P

good puzzle design! perfect difficulty

oh cool, reminds me of mini metro

popcorn clicker :P

super polished game, I really enjoy the combat mechanics but getting used to dashing was a bit hard for me. There isn't to much content in the game, but for what's there, it's really neat

A nice technuique you can get in an arrow shoot in between every melee attack, just swapping between them

lovely pixel art!

I just have to leave a comment, because this is so cool!

Beautiful, made it to 719 meters

Best 30 seconds of my life!

Just added 8 new Levels!

Hah, you got spooked!

Thanks!

Thanks! :D

Satisfying! Very well polished.

Perfect challange level for me who don't usally play games like this.

Audio 10/10

Gameplay 10/10

Graphics 10/10

I could keep going but I think that's enough, fun game!

Wowie! Very excited! :D

Insanely good!

Nudge, Nudge ;)

Fun graphics, What did santa do to the presents, to upset them this much? D:

Greate graphics, and fun mechanics, I found it however hard sometimes to keep track of the projectile and player since there is so many particles flying around. BUT HEY maybe that's just because I haven't slept in a really long time :P

Instead of uploading the .zip I took the .exe file.

Is there an admin or something that can help me change the game files?

You can't play my game without the other files...

Would be fun to see the experience everyone had with the game jam!

I guess I'll start:

I think the levels where designed pretty well, quite fun!

I had to restart a few times though because I though i got stuck but i didn't realize the options i had since, it doesn't always tell you directly. Like not understanding you can wall jump.

From everything I've heard so far I didn't think this would be allowed.

So I want to know specifically if i can use any of these libraries?

UniRx : https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/integration/unirx-reactive-extensions-for-unity-17276

Zenject: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/integration/zenject-dependency-injection-ioc-17758

Well with Zenject you have to write code to use it. (It isn't just an editor tool)

https://itch.io/jam/cgj/topic/515740/is-bolt-allowed <- Bolt is allowed.

Ah okay, thanks for clarifying.

I think it's a shame though that I can't even use dependency injection libraries, It's essentially just a workflow tool.

And also annoying that I can't use my preffered json libraries, I'm basically forced to use Unity's json tool or the native C# one.

I just have to live with that then :P

if you can delete or move the assets you used before you build your final game to submit, then it's fine to use them. But if the assets do end up in the actual built game, then they must be self-made during the week.

How can Bolt be allowed then?

Does that mean I can't use these assets?

Zenject: Dependency injection library.

UniRx: Reactive library.

(These are not editor extensions)

These libraries are used widely and professionally, and my workflow involves these libraries.

Similar questions have been asked, but the rules kind of points that something like this should be fine.

I have a library that is essential for all my projects, it solves data and event dependency spaghetti code.

It doesn't provide any gameplay functionallity, only gives quality of life tools that makes it easier to write code. (It's also open source)

The rules specify

Asset store assets are not allowed either, except for the ones that don't contribute to the game itself but make the workflow easier.

By reading the rules, only asset store workflow libraries are allowed, not self made.

Meaning, by the rules I can not do this, it feels like a flaw in the rules.

I like the idea, well done! One thing I think maybe could improve the clarity, is to make the grey walls always show at the end of the line. Right now the ray just stops it seems like. (It seems to be the levels borders) If you understand what i mean ;)

Clever game! Well done!

I believe that mechanic was accidentally discovered, it was actually only meant to happened on the enemies, which didnt even work haha. I did that level the later hours of the jam, because I thought the game was to short, and I remembered that I could maybe do something with that mechanic.

Very nice design on the puzzles, i think having shorter levels would fit better in a game like this. Good job!

thanks, i agree with the controlls, i wish i would've had time to implement customizable controlls.

That's odd :s. What version did you take? 32/64 bit?
