Cute game. The gameplay is pretty much just drive in a straight line, but for a quick 5 minute game that’s fine. (I didn’t notice the turbo boost in the controls either)
Thanks for playing :)
I should have done a better job of indicating the boost and gun controls :|
The whole atmosphere with the desert wasteland, zombie horde, and music is feels really good. I thought that the music was maybe a little bit bit too happy-sounding, but it had a vaguely creepy quality that worked well.
And I thought that saguaro looked familiar! We used the same tileset.
I did my first run not realizing that there was a gun in the game or that I could boost through obstacles. I'm sure those are handier on the higher difficulties. But I thought that the way the gun is utilized, giving an incentive for just holding the trigger and pointlessly spraying bullets into the horde felt a bit out of place.
Anyhow, this was a simple but cute little game!
Thanks for playing :)
The original idea was to include a flame thrower but I couldn't get the time to implement it. I still kept the gun in game just to give a sense of hopelessness when you are surrounded by the zombies as the gun doesn't really help you much.
Tight, good looking, simple. I really liked it!
Thanks for playing, glad you liked it :)
that's a looot of zombies!
I wish the player gun was a bit more impactfull :P
Thanks for playing :)
Yup the gun could have been better, the initial idea was to include a flame thrower but I ran out of time. But I still kept the gun as it gave a sense of helplessness when you're surrounded by zombies.
Haha nice, it is getting intense at the end :D
Yup, the last 10% is the hardest
it’s not that many zombies :p
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic :)
20k zombies is the max my 5 years old machine can handle, there's a setting that enables 50k zombies
