SCENARIO:

There is little left to finish the game and publish it for you to play, I just added the scenario to test how the game will be finished. Now I just need to add a HUD and the HIT system, which I'm already procrastinating a lot to do lol

It's been really cool to work on this project, the animations are coming out exactly the way I imagined, and the game is taking shape, soon I'll start adding colors to the animations, but first I want to leave all the game programming done for later. focus only on the arts.

REMAKE OF ANIMATION

Bringing here the update of the animation that I had done before, and you can see the notable difference from one to the other, this new one now brings more fluidity to the movement, making whoever is watching it understand what the movement wants to convey, which in this case is an attack.


I put this animation at 8 fps to show the details better, but this animation works better at 12 fps.

An interesting thing, “haste is the enemy of perfection”... I want to animate quickly so that the game is ready as soon as possible, so I thought that reducing the animation frames would finish quickly and have more time to do the others things, but as you can see, if you reduce the frames you cannot understand the movement you want to convey in the character and it becomes lifeless...


Interesting... What I have to do now is redo everything because the character is also a little stuck, and add more frames to make the animation fluid.

Idea:

This fan game will be based on episode 137 of Naruto where the fight between Sasuke and Itachi takes place, the game will only have one level which will be a "boss fight".

What I expect from this project:

Well, the idea of this project is to make more people aware of my work, and I also want to challenge myself, as I've never made a hand-drawn game so I can't guarantee that it will become the best fan game in the world, but I hope that follow me on this journey...

Character Design:

This is the main idea of the characters, I don't want to bring the original aesthetic of the Anime, I want to be able to bring something new while maintaining Naruto's identity.

I went back to developing the game, I had taken a break because I was going through a burnout (overwork) and that's why I had stopped.

Well, for now I just finished creating the final boss of the game, but after I finish his mechanics, the only thing missing is the scenery

I don't have much to say, because I only worked on this enemy and made the main character's movements, but so far the game is taking the shape I want, I hope that maybe this week I'll have already finished the full game (if I don't procrastinate XD)

DESCRIPTION

This is a fan game of the anime Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no yaiba) based on episode 17 where Zenitsu is fighting the spiders.
The game will only have a single level where you will have to kill the smaller spiders and then the "boss spider"

Well, for now I only have the Zenitsu model, and I also have some basic animations (idle, run, attack combo)



The idea is to finish this game this week, because as it is a fan game, I don't want to waste too much time. Soon I will bring more updates about the enemies for you.

CHARACTER: Lie Jie

Lie Jie is a Panda who has long fought between realms to bring peace, but is now living a peaceful life in Panda Village. the game is about to be released! I know it's been a while without updating you about the game, but it was for a good cause, we're entering the final stretch of development. see some new things that have changed in the game (there's this and more).

  • Added more levels and bosses.
  • Added more special effects and some were redone.
  • Some animations have been redone, thus making them smoother.
  • Added difficulty system(HardCore = 1 life).

And a lot more but I won't be here giving spoilers, you'll have to play to know what else was added :).
