Idea:

This fan game will be based on episode 137 of Naruto where the fight between Sasuke and Itachi takes place, the game will only have one level which will be a "boss fight".

What I expect from this project:

Well, the idea of this project is to make more people aware of my work, and I also want to challenge myself, as I've never made a hand-drawn game so I can't guarantee that it will become the best fan game in the world, but I hope that follow me on this journey...

Character Design:

This is the main idea of the characters, I don't want to bring the original aesthetic of the Anime, I want to be able to bring something new while maintaining Naruto's identity.

(Yes, I'm going to change this Itachi's face lol).

"Haste is the enemy of perfection"

An interesting thing, “haste is the enemy of perfection”... I want to animate quickly so that the game is ready as soon as possible, so I thought that reducing the animation frames would finish quickly and have more time to do the others things, but as you can see, if you reduce the frames you cannot understand the movement you want to convey in the character and it becomes lifeless...


Interesting... What I have to do now is redo everything because the character is also a little stuck, and add more frames to make the animation fluid.

Well, soon I'll bring this animation here redone to show you the brutal difference!.

REMAKE OF ANIMATION

Bringing here the update of the animation that I had done before, and you can see the notable difference from one to the other, this new one now brings more fluidity to the movement, making whoever is watching it understand what the movement wants to convey, which in this case is an attack.


I put this animation at 8 fps to show the details better, but this animation works better at 12 fps.

UPDATE:

After a long time without posting anything here, I'm here to let you know that the game's combat is now complete, all that's left to do is add the HIT system, and soon I'll add a HUD and a scenario to make the game more beautiful, thus finishing the development of this game. fan game. When I'm finished, I'll give my final considerations about this project.


SCENARIO:

There is little left to finish the game and publish it for you to play, I just added the scenario to test how the game will be finished. Now I just need to add a HUD and the HIT system, which I'm already procrastinating a lot to do lol
