Really cool and unique concept! Definitely one of the more creative entries I've played. Great work!

Love the creative concept here. I will say that I found the riskier options to be incredibly difficult, and I think I wouldn't have hit a single letter on them without memorizing the prompts first, but that might just be a skill issue, lol! The cutscenes corresponding with your choices are a really cool feature as well. Nicely done!
This has to be one of my favorites of the jam so far. Perfect 5's all around.
- It's a platformer with extremely responsive controls and a jump that feels right
- It's properly difficult but for the right reasons
- It has a super creative take on the theme - I absolutely love that the singular mechanic of building introduces so much thought to how you approach the levels
- It's super cute
The lightbulb moment when I realized I could block the honey from falling and seal off the bees was incredibly satisfying.
I did encounter a few bugs, but not one of them detracted from the experience, and instead made me wonder about speedrunning potential.
From the 20 or so games I've played from the jam so far, this is probably the one I invested the most time into - and if not, it's definitely in the top three. Brilliant stuff!
First of all, this game has some of the most polish and best visuals of any entry I've seen.
It's also one of the first games that really left an impact with how it implemented the theme. My first run, I was super conservative, grabbed a few biscuits, and then ended. Then I realized how it might be possible to get a lot more by knocking them down off ledges without dragging them back, fitting them into stacks, and bringing pushing them back toward the goal at the end.
But I got greedy. I had something like ten cookies in piles just a short trek from the entrance, and misjudged how much time I had left. So there I was, with all the cookies I had painstakingly prepared, frantically trying to drag them into the basket and becoming panicked as they became stuck on ledges or I could find the right angle to pick them up.
And that's where I died, next to my small fortune of biscuits that I'd never be able to spend.
This game gives me anxiety.
Great work!
Okay, at first I didn't think I understood it, but I'm so glad I stuck with it!
This game is crazy fun, and the concept of continuing your run or locking it in for the leaderboard is really unique. I had a blast figuring out how to play - the only negative thing I can say about this game is the lack of sound effects (unless it has audio and for some reason it wasn't working for me?). Some good sound design on top of the already outstanding visuals would make this darn near perfect.
Awesome work!
P.S. As I write this, I have the #1 spot on the leaderboard :)
This is 5's across the board for me! Absolutely love the visual style, and the mechanics are super thoughtful and unique. Plus, it's themed around DOGS! What's not to love?
Honestly, if you add some more features and juice (like card animations) this could easily be released as a commercial game. Great work!
This game is incredibly charming, and it's clear there was a lot of creative thought put into it. I especially appreciated the little story events in between days, and the animations that accompanied them!
I struggled a bit to fully understand the mechanics, and I think that's mostly because I'm not the type who can read the rules of a new card/board game and "get" it right away - I pretty much just have to learn by playing. So, that's probably more my personal experience than a fault of the mechanics themselves, which are super creative!
One thing I would like to see is something similar to the setting in Balatro where you can speed up the game's animations. Especially once players are more familiar with the game, it might feel a little cumbersome to wait several seconds for animations to finish after every hand.
All that said, great job on this entry! The vibes and theme were right on point.
Absolutely love the visuals and theme! The way the various desktop icons are incorporated is super creative. I do find the controls pretty difficult to wrangle, though.I think adding coyote time to the jump and making it a little less floaty could go a long way toward helping the game feel more responsive. Good work!
Absolutely love the visuals! One of the best-looking games I've seen from the jam so far. It is somewhat difficult to see how the mechanics like the blaster charge work when playing (in fact, I spent my first attempts using exclusively melees because I couldn't figure it out) and it's difficult to tell when the squid enemies are attacking, but otherwise the gameplay is fun and satisfying. Unfortunately I got pushed out of bounds by one of the enemies after destroying four terminals so I wasn't quite able to beat it quite yet, but I still think this is a really solid entry overall. Great work!
I really love this idea! The difficulty level is pretty high from the get-go, especially since there isn't any audio or visual feedback for when you're entering combos (like highlighting the directional arrow you're currently at in the combo, and a sound effect for if you press the correct or incorrect button) but the idea of having to rhythmically enter spells is while blocking incoming attacks is great. Also, good interpretation of the theme! I could see this working super well with more features and polish.
Learning the mechanics of the game was admittedly challenging, but once I got going, this was super fun! Initially I found myself frantically switching between the recipes and the ingredients, but eventually it started to become somewhat of a rhythm, which I really enjoyed. Glad I stuck with it and beat day 10!
Great work on this!
I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this game! It's a nice gameplay concept too, although I did find having to restart the room each time I made a mistake a little cumbersome - especially since the boxes have a bit of momentum and it can be hard to move them precisely. Regardless, a cute and creative entry!
Okay, the controls may have been incredibly difficult to wrangle... BUT I can completely forgive it because of how much I love everything else about this game. Switch weapons randomly and having the weight affect your movement is an awesome concept, and the overall visual style is an absolute delight. Great work!
