In Orbital you play as a super advanced AI tasked with relocating people to a new home planet, preferably one that isn't going up in flame. Check it out here and see if you can give them a better life! Use solar system physics to slingshot your arks to other planets whilst dodging asteroids and other dangers!

This is a prototype and I would love feedback as I plan to update it next month.

I appreciate your dedication for getting there in the first place! I'll be updating Climate Changed soon.

Very nice game you got the responsiveness of the controls down. One thing I'd say is if your a cheapskate like me you can hug the right wall and none of them can touch you!

Very neat game I had a lot of fun playing it. Didn't realise dying meant that a day progressed, thought it reset so I screwed myself over a bit on my first play but cracked it on the second. Well done!

Very pretty and nostalgic, some nice games in there. The physics on the pong and brickbreaker games were my favourite, found the frame updating on the other two a little hard to compute for my overtired mind! All round really nice work.

I rate the sound affect and visual style of this game and I'm always into the idea of being trapped in a parrallel dimension. My suggestions would be to work on the jumping some more, mark the player as grounded for a few extra frames after walking off a platform so they have more time to jump. Also make jumping up onto platforms easier. Great effort, interested to see where you guys go next.

Great art style and neat game!

I'm feeling some inspiration from Inscryption here and loving it. I really like the potential of this game so I have a load of suggestions that you can do whatever the hell you want with.

In regards to an earlier comment on flattening the difficulty curve:

1.  A mode with just one pill per frog

2. A mode with only two frogs

3. A timer bar as it's hard to gauge how long I have, and as the round automatically rolls on it feels easy to become left behind

My initial instict was to press W to place the pills, I'd say a control scheme as follows would be my ideal.

A /D - move left/right

W - place pill

S - skip currently queued pill

Some minor changes:

The controls menu is missing a key for Select Pill and Place Pill and automatically clearing pills after a failed round would be a shout.

Hopefully this helps, genuinely sick job on this!

Neat game, I like that your forced to use the frogs tongue to catch some flies. I think making that animation quicker could be a shout so there's more reason to use the tongue when the flies are on land too! Great job with it!

A super unique game, really nice dialog system, can I ask did you create it? If so did you follow a tutorial?

Such a polished game, only grip was that it's a bit difficult to clear some of the blocks with gaps between then. If they clung to the top of the screen I think that would be a neat way round it.

Always up for learning philsopohy from a wise frog.

Nice looking game, well thought out puzzles. I had one issue where two tiles overlapped (red cross in the image). Where was the soundtrack from, I really liked it! Overall great looking game and some big brain puzzles.

Nice game! Some satisfying hopping. One idea could be to have a bit more bounce back when you hit a wall so you don't have to reposition the frog by reversing! Great job though.

Pretty nice looking game, sounds weird but I really liked the menu. Wasn't 100% sure what all the falling powerups did but generally neat game.

You got the assignment. Honestly the music & time limit were brilliantly stress inducing. Great camera shake when you fall in the water & satisfying fly catching. Well played.

Very pretty looking game, nice animations and art. Would like a little bit more float to the jump but I get that it's meant to be challenging! Nice one.

Really neat game, well thought out puzzles, tounge mechanics could maybe use some work, I found some of the positionings quite difficult but that may just be me. Some subtle way of highling objects that can be grappled to could be a shout. Really great stuff and I'm sorry I couldn't get Arson his prosthetics :'(.

Liked the 3D graphics and models, solid music, and liked the animation. Jump was a little hard to control for me but I did get all the collectibles.

Thanks a bunch for playing my game, it's very useful to see how you approached it!

Hi Manbo,

You hit the nail on the head, a crossover of sing-along caption bounces and theatrical performance is what I was going for.

I appreciate you and your feedback!

Hi there,

This is a trove of feedback I really appreciate it my pal. My trello board is looking nice a fleshed out as a result.
Grace time is a great idea and has reminded me that the player doesn't have it when even jumping let alone landing so I'll be sure to look at both.

The rehearsal idea is VERY nice, it'd be a sin not to use it at some point.

Cheers,

Jack

Thanks for the constructive feedback I super appreciate it. I hear you on the prioritisation of mechanics and intuitiveness of the game!

You are a king, thank you for the encouraging feedback. Classical music and working on the mechanics is exactly where I'd go next.

Good point mate, the instructions and page detail has had a revamp.

Cool game. Would love to see some kind of indication on how long till game over but I really like the assets and physics. Great on pollution facts too!!!!

I like the smiley earth, good controls and on point for the theme. I'd be interested in seeing some more sound effects for the jumping/being hit by rubbish/score incrementing. Nice work!

Really tightly packaged game, would be VERY interested in learning how you handled the rising sea level. Great work my bud!

Very neat and pretty looking game. I found the sound to be a bit inconsistent, when bringing ingredients to the oven, it sounds like the main background music is lowered in volume temporarily it doesn't feel quite right. Generally though, great job!

Enjoyable game, I rate soundtrack too. The pause menu seemed a bit confusing, perhaps enablign the cursor when paused would show how to unpause as if I took my mouse off the screen it seemed to think I wanted to pause the game.

Neat idea, great colour scheme and solid mechanics. One idea for the future could be to add seconds to the timer every time the player scores and make it a time attack mode.

Great UI, great challenging puzzles, funny writing. My only feedback would be that add/removing the different stencils them from the cake doesn't always work. Nice work with it.

Perfect

Real cute game, some imaginative minigames in there.

Amazing game.

Can never recreate the magic of that first handshake, wow. I'll be forever chasing the dragon.

Great art and puzzles!

Love this!

Fun game well done mate.
