The art is really cool and the sound too. But maybe you should rework the jump as many ppl said under me. It was hard to get on something. And maybe you should make the tongue go everywhere and not only on a X or Y axes

I rate the sound affect and visual style of this game and I'm always into the idea of being trapped in a parrallel dimension. My suggestions would be to work on the jumping some more, mark the player as grounded for a few extra frames after walking off a platform so they have more time to jump. Also make jumping up onto platforms easier. Great effort, interested to see where you guys go next.

That's not a bad idea to include some coyote time on the next iteration.  Thanks for playing, and we look forward to seeing you again!

This game has some really neat ideas, but unfortunately it didn't come together all that well. That could probably be because of too many team members and the lack of experience with working with so many people. It plays a little rough, but I appreciate the work that's gone into it and I could easily see what you guys were going for. A very interesting entry.

We appreciate your feedback!  We're a team of folks who started getting together regularly so that we could make game jams, then improve the process.  This is our second jam, so we are pretty new! :)  We learned a lot this go around,  and are looking forward to next time.

I love the art, it's giving off a vapour wave vibe that I like a lot. The bird is my fave character art I think

Both the art and sound design of this one was amazing. I loved the creature designs, especially the weird four eyed bird. The boing sound was a boing that is worth all the boings.

Unfortunately, it seems like this project was rushed. Some graphics have only placeholders. The mechanics of the grapple aren't really shown, and I was able to get to the boss without it, but had no idea how to defeat the boss. I couldn't see any timer, so I had no idea how much time was left. The controls were janky. The reset was full game rather than one level, which was annoying.

This game was very ambitious, and I do want to see what it could have been with more time. Sadly, I fell those ambitions were too big for just three days.

The game suffers greatly for a lack of completed levels, but *this* failure to communicate is down to the lack of instructions or a tutorial.

The sky is the clock. You have until dark to get home. Sadly, I don't think there are enough levels to exhaust the time limit unless you play on "hard." Hence, most players won't notice much change.

Regardless, we are feeling the consequences of the level situation all over. One of our teammates suggested that we designate a level designer next time around who can work all jam through. Wise, I think.

Thanks for reviewing!

The art is amazing but sometimes when i grappled something it would give me infinity left momentum

The art is fantastic and the "boing" sound effect is fun to spam.
I didn't understand how to use the tongue grapple mechanic, it seemed like it should be omni-directional but it only works in the cardinal directions.  Maybe it would be better on a pad, I was playing with M+KB

That's a solid recommendation, next time we go with 4 directions we'll probably tie it to the movement to make it simpler.
