Update 1.2.0 is now out on Steam, with a hotfix coming soon to handle a few minor issues. Update 1.2.1 should launch by the end of the week, at which point I'll upload it here as well.

Its uses are very niche, but if you're looking to make a visual novel, then Visual Novel Maker is a pretty great engine. It's a bit rough around the edges, but you can create a whole game from start to finish with it. It's by the same people that make RPG Maker, it just doesn't receive the same level of support

It took me over four years, but I just finished my first game - Supersize My Heart, a visual novel/dating sim where you attend an academy to be the best fast food crew member you can be and date mascots. Rack up craveability points with our version of the Colonel, Ronald McDonald, the Burger King and the Taco Bell chihuahua. Flame broil your way to gainful employment and watch out that you don't get bun-napped by the Grumbler!
Length: Approx. 5 hours for a single playthrough. Five main routes, one bonus.
