Thanks, that's awesome! I'd love to see it if you want to share it here :)

Hi! I’m Anis, a French music composer looking to team up for the MelonJam.
I specialize in RPG and adventure soundtracks, but I also have a background in electronic and rock music, so I am happy to explore other genres of games. I’m eager to focus entirely on the audio side this time—after having joined two game jams as a solo developer (BYOG 2023 & Cosy Fall Jam 2023).

I’m looking for a team at the Intermediate level that values collaboration, creativity, and building something fun together!
Feel free to reach out if you're forming a team or need a composer on board!

Thanks for your response, I bought 2 asset packs independently: This one (Ruins) and temple.
Indeed I see the grounds tiles in a separate file, but they contain only the dirt/grass
It would have been nice to have unique tiles, without duplicate like the in the example below:

But I think I understand that the way you created the tileset was that you designed the temple then added details over it, which explain that there are a lot of different tiles.
Anyways, I will manage like this, it was just in case you already had separate resources, but It will work like that.
Again, thanks for your nice work!
Hi @Virtual Turtle Games!
Thanks for your feedback, glad to see that you had an overall nice experience playing my game!
It's difficult to find the balance between too much explanation and not enough explanation, and provide a game experience which is not too long and straight to the point.
I will definitely keep that in mind in general to think of ways to make things more obvious without excessive tutorials.
Last, but not least: HUGE thanks for organizing this game jam. It was an amazing experience to be part of!
Good job on the vibes!
I couldn't pass the 3rd day unfortunately, the absence of coyote jump for instance was making the platforming too punitive if you jump one frame too late. Improvements on small points like this could really improve the player experience!
It was a good idea to make every day having difference in the level, makes it interesting.
Good game, congrats!
Great idea and well executed!! 5/5 fitting the less is more theme.
The art is pleasant, the color palette is serene and giving cosy fall vibes.
The gameplay is simple, easy to grasp, and playing is fun! We probably could understand the game without even reading the description, so good design!
Liked the shader transparent line thing as well :D
Hi Strickster!
Thank you so much for your feedback, I am happy you liked the atmosphere and the gameplay. I will definitely work on it, maybe even make it a "Full Game", I have a few other ideas already for the gameplay.
If you are interested, you can follow me here on itch or on Twitter/X @SomaAnimus
Thanks again for playing and reaching out!
Hi plaha! Thank you so much! I am happy you had a nice experience playing my game.
Glad you liked the cut scene! If you liked the first one, I think the endscene should be even better
(Once you get back your notes, you can trigger the end scene by playing something on the flute, somewhere) 😁
Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
I'm a fan of the "pixel kill bill, destroy all the guys with so much style" thing, but I definitely don't have the skill to finish this game !
I got stuck against the guy with a spear. It seems to me that the time frame within which you can parry and counter is super tiny (Maybe I'm not the target audience though, I play casual games usually)
Loved the graphics, and the game mechanics are well done.
Good job!
I really enjoyed playing this game!
The music is great, the level of difficulty is a bit high (even though I put the easiest mode), but it makes it even more satisfying when you make it through the level.
I loved the diversity of the game mechanics, allowing to find different strategies to progress (teleport, defend, jump, glide)
Too bad it got stuck when I died climbing the tree, the boss frog stayed on top of me and nothing happened, regardless, really good game.
Good work to the team who made it!
