Amazing job, really! Can't believe you all made a game of this level of quality in only one weekend! I really loved the concept. As simple as it is, it really works well, especially with the amazing setting the game takes place in, well done! Everything breathes warmth, coziness and fall! There were a few things that didn't quite work as I expected, and I did encounter some bugs:
- The tutorial book was covered by the character cards

- Sometimes I couldn't click on UI, it would instead select a shop item behind it (I couldn't click on the coin when giving out orders, for example).

- Sometimes after clicking the cauldron the order would just disappear completely.

- This might have been coincidence but all the orders of my first 4 guests were exactly the same.

Anyways, those are some minor things that should be easy enough to fix. Really solid concept! I hope you all keep working on this some more, it's the perfect game to play during fall! Thanks for participating in the gamejam!!

Amazing job! This feels like a production ready game already

Very nice game it's very beautiful and fun!

Love the art and the music. I didn't read the recipe book at first, but it was fun experimenting to figure out how to make each item. I think I may have run into a bug with a couple of the recipes. Sometimes even though I put the correct ingredients in, it wouldn't make the item, maybe I put them in the wrong order? Overall, a great game!

Awesome work!

The visuals are stunning and well polished, loved the animations on the bell and cauldron!
It took me a few minutes to figure out the ingredients mixing, but the fact that you left the minimum ingredients to begin with, then increased progressively as the player gets it, is smart.
Unfortunately after day 12 no one was coming (A bug I guess, or were my coffees that bad ? ๐Ÿ˜…)

Developer(+2)

haha oh nooo - I dont think your coffee was that bad - could have been a bug. However if you befriend animals they stop showing up in the current version - so if you befriended everyone no one will show up eventually ^^

Its a bit odd and I hope we can fix that in the future.

Thanks for playing and the nice feedback!

Ha yes indeed I was 100% friendly 0% capitalist on this one ๐Ÿ˜‚ So that's it! So I made them food with love for free and they just left me ๐Ÿ˜ช

Top marks on the coziness. This is a cute game and not bad looking, too. It's particularly impressive for a 3D game made for a jam. I enjoyed figuring out the different recipes and putting them together.

Figuring those recipes out was a struggler, though. There are only so many in the book, and your creations don't have a 360 rotation like the orders do. Sometimes it's hard to get a sense of how well your creation matches up, or what ingredient leads to which kind of result. But once I did, I had fun saying "oh, well, there are berries and whip cream in the picture, so that goes in". There was at least one recipe I found that didn't seem to work right, though. I seem to recall a muffin with nuts or something that didn't make anything if I put the muffin in first?

Little disappointed by the lack of a proper ending, and there's doesn't seem to be much impact to choosing money. But I understand the team ran out of time. It happens. I had the same problem the last jam I was in.

Overall, a solid jam entry that manages to be wholesome and engaging. With a bit more polish and time to implement the features you had to cut, this could be special.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

I wrote a passage on the game's page about the lack of the ending and our initial plan - if you are interested in what have could been :D

For us this was the first jam, and maybe first game ever where we had more art assets than we could implement - so technically there are all the assets and designs for the ending and the money but yeah - ran out of time.

I also agree that the recipes part needs a bit more polish eventually.

Adorable and atmospheric! The spellrulebook is so nice and cozy.

Quitting on Esc is so disappointing, though :( Some issues with the acceptance bell - it's impossible to accept money, I always seem to grab something behind it instead. And when I misclicked the "heart" option it disappeared and then the ring just stopped working. But i'm sure it can be fixed after the jam code freeze.

Developer(+1)

Hey thanks for playing, and for the feedback :)

The money indeed is broken and the speechbubble dosn't even has collision so yeah, you always pick the coffee or nuts behind the option ^^

We also hope that we can fix that in a few days hehe

Soooooooo cute!! The style was adorable and such a pleasure to look at and the music was just as calming. The recipes for making drinks was a bit confusing at first but after getting the hang of it, it was nice playing through :D

Amazing job!!

Developer

Thank you so much!

I am happy you enjoyed the cozy coffee cove and figured out the recipes :)

Developer

Thank you :)

It took me a bit to figure out what I was doing (and I got trapped in the tutorial page once) but I didn't mind at all as this has the coziest fall vibe of all the games so far! Amazing job for just a few days!

Developer

Thank you so much!!

We kinda ran out of time on the last day haha

I am glad to see that you didn't give up and eventually figured it out :D

ayo! nice idea, really appreciate the hand drawn tutorial as well. nicely done, feels way more advanced than a 72 hours game. good job!

Lovely game! Has the coziest fall vibes of the games I have played so far. There seem problems with the menu cards in the web version (sometimes they fly out of the window and I can not click them anymore). Would love to see a version with an introduction and the money/love-mechanic after the jam :)

Developer

thank you - yeah we too definetly we even have some assets that were produced during the weekend but that did not make it into the build yet.

There is definitely more to come!

We think the card problem could be caused by changing between full screen and not-full-screen during runtime...

Ayoooo I love this game! The visuals are incredibly cute and animal crossing-like. I especially like the fish customer uwu. I just had a few glitches here and there, sometimes neither the customer nor the dish would show up on an order card.

Developer

Ayoo! Thank you that is super nice to hear :)

Nice atmosphere for a game. I wasnโ€™t so good to prepare te coffee for all my guests. Good job

Amazing work for 3 days! Great visuals and vibe. However I couldn't figure out how to make the drinks right. I could have done with some labels on the ingredients because I couldn't really see what they were.

Developer

thanks :))

There are labels on all of the ingredients - the drink that was ordered is a bit hard to read tho ... I hope we can fix that with a bit more time in a few days.

Thanks for playing - love your game!

Really cool art and animations. I had some trouble figuring things out at first, but once i did I really enjoyed this game. Great Job!

Submitted(+3)

Very cute and cozy concept and art! It took me a little while to work out how to play, I think some instructions would be helpful. Loved the hand-drawn recipe book!

Developer(+1)

thank you - that is sweet to hear from the creator of the coziest game I have played so far :)

Instructions were definitely on the list but didn't made the cut on Sunday evening ^^

I am glad you could figure it out anyways and enjoyed the game.

Love this game art style. Nice color combination and level design. It's very cozy.
well done.

Developer

Thank you - I can only say the same about your game :)

I tried something new with the colours and I am super proud how it turned out hihi
