This is great Sass! And welcome back to the awards, great to see you again!
Make sure you post this in the Discord server, we still have over 100 people who have yet to sign up in there.
Hi there, thanks so much for the submission!
Just so you're aware, let me reiterate a rule:
If a paid entry is submitted, a free version or alternative way to access the content will need to be provided either directly to a judge account or on the submissions page. All entries can only be judged based on the level of access provided. In the event that a free-to-download/free-to-play version is not submitted, the submission cannot be judged.

Hi there, it very much depends on how you handle the topic. Generally speaking I'd say try to stay away from the topic, we want this gamejam to be open to everyone, and to be as inclusive as possible.
If your game does include suicide, make sure there is a warning in place that is very visible for everyone to see and it should be fine.

Thanks so much! I appreciate the help, great questions.
1) This jam is for solo or group submissions, there will be a question when you submit your work that asks if you worked on this solo or in a group. There's no size limit :D
2) No engine limitation, there are creators in this jam with all sorts of backgrounds, and we wouldn't want to limit you to specific mediums. We want to see your best story telling abilities on display!
3) There is no discord channel (would you like one? Shall I set one up?)
4) There is no theme, but the guide lines are on the itch page. They are:
The point of these rules is to allow you as much freedom as possible when designing your game, so that you can work as closely to your strengths as possible. This is a technical jam as much as it is a creative one, and you'll be judged on your narrative execution in whatever format you choose. There are 6 judges on the panel so that the submitters can know we are dedicated to as fair and open a judging panel as we can get to.
5) If there are any issues opening and playing your game, I assure you we will reach out and work it out, but I'm quite certain it shouldn't be an issue.
Thanks so much for your questions, I hope this helped, if you have any issues at all with your question (4) on guiding principles, comment below and I know we'll be able to sort some bedrock.
Hi all!
The Narrative design game jam is all about show casing your best in plot design. Entries can be in any format, as long as there is some sort of story for us to enjoy.
The community that takes part in this jam is super supportive and uplifting, and we want to hear your opinions. So, to vote on each others entries, hit up the community pages and the submission pages and comment on what you like. The judges will take this and turn it into votes.
Oh, the judges! You're going to love them!
I am one of the judges, and my background includes mostly plot and production work. I have worked in animation, 3d printing, writing, scripting, hosting and acting for many years now.
We have Emily, an Oxford graduate who has many critical papers on literature and linguistics.
There's Penny, a very accomplished author and ttrpg designer.
Isla has worked in the media industry on some huge projects, including Star Wars and ITV's Quiz, and now works in publishing.
And two more judges, who have yet to be announced (it's a surprise!)
So, get out your pens, put on your thinking caps and get plotting!
