Thanks for the idea! Creating icons instead of pure dialogue definitely would drastically help improve the pace of the game as it would help with the storage idea also.

Thanks for the review! Yeah, an in game tutorial certainly would have been a way better way to demonstrate the concept of the game. Got to make a mental note if I ever do another game jam.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah... I didn't really think to far ahead with the whole storage. I'll try to find a way to balance out the requests of items if I ever get to continue with the game.

Who doesn't like a good game of Pac-man? Just wished that it was more than a character change for the role.

Nice combination with the jam theme from last year! If anything, I wish there was a way to play around getting a bad hand. Maybe allowing one or two rerolls per fight could help the player if rng wasn't on their side.

It's fun being able to place things and watching the character just continue trying their best to jump over the objects. As with all the other comments, just a bit difficult to find the position to place down objects.

A bit confusing starting off, but one you get into it, its pretty satisfying watching all your buildings shoot down enemy bases. Also a very interesting take on the theme of the jam.

Thanks for the compliments! I definitely will take those ideas into consideration if I ever continue developing as I didn't even think about the customization features.

Great game! Very confused when I was just sitting there and watching all the monsters doing idle animations but eventually got it.

Super fun and interesting puzzles. Thank god for the teleport mechanic as its a complete life savior.

Thanks for the feedback! Adding a way to instantly visualize the value of an object is something that I definitely will implement if I continue working on the game. Also, adding more time is a must, because even though I created the prices of items, I still take too long deciding...

Really liked the idea of reusing the enemies after they finished their turn. It's hard but certainly a game that you get better with practice.

Super satisfying to finally finish everything. Definitely something that is learned through trial and error but its a very neat and unique idea.

Really cool idea! I can definitely see this idea being expanded by adding more variety of songs to give the player more of a challenge. But it was still satisfying to get every keypress.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I definitely think that being able to have back and forth comments with the NPCs would have made things much more interesting.

Why go on an adventure when others could do that for you?

Let them do all the "hard work" while you sit back and wait for the profits to come to you.

Actually, whoever said that being a merchant was an easy task?

Do you know how to properly maintain customer satisfaction, keep track of prices for different items, know how to bargain and take risks all within a timely manner?

And the most important factor, are you lucky enough to have customers wanting the items you have?

Well, try to see how many days you can last.

Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2023 : "Rolls Reversed"

I think what you have so far is great! I absolutely love the art style and the vibe that the game gives off. Even some of the quest descriptions are hilarious to read since its so out of place but helps gives it a certain charm.

It's hilarious just to watch the mayhem spew out everywhere while your just trying to strafe around. I thinking adding a textbox showing your score could help people try to beat their last high-score like a general arcade type game.

Thanks for the feedback! I was also thinking about how item management was a bit difficult to envision. Originally, I was going to create a "book" to flip through but quickly realized that there was no way to implement it alongside the other core features that I still had to include.
