Yeah, they are a point of contention for sure. But not a dealbreaker by themselves, so I am hopeful.

First of all, thank you for your feedback. Second, I do listen to feedback, but not all feedback needs to be listened to.
As for the Trial itself - really, no significant RNG is involved, and a lot of people successfully finish the first Trial. And, no, the Trial is balanced the way I want it to be. If you want to pass a trial you have to either focus on one of the stats specific to this Trial (yes, stats - multiple, you don't have to focus on just one), you have to look for spells that would make the Trial easier, or you need to be very attentive during the Trial to know how it works mechanically. You cannot just try and bruteforce it. And that's the experience I want the players to have.
If you want to win a non-mandatory encounter, you'll have to work for that win. And it IS a non-mandatory encounter.
Well, first of all, Violet's date is not in the free version of the game yet, it was only added in version 0.5.0 and it doesn't get overridden by other events. You have been warned that Violet's date is not in the game yet, when the date gets assigned.
About the saves. The game autosaves every Monday, so even if you forgot to save manually, with 8 autosave slots, you should have almost two months worth of save points.
Lastly, even though the first Trial can be won with you stats just above 30 if you know the Trial inside and out, and anything above that just makes the Trial easier, you don't really need to win to progress the game, as you clearly figured out yourself.
If after all of that, this still isn't your kind of game, well, I am not doing a "game for everyone." Hopefully, there are a lot more games for you to scratch your itch =)
We had a roadmap at some point, but we found out that it was to stressful and, actually, inefficient to try and stick to it, do now we are just trying to develop things as they come. We do also have polls for supporters on patreon to see what their preferred direction is (within our guidelines) and give more focus to that.
Hi, thank you for the review. The game is definitely not meant to be just breezed through, and exploration and experimentation is important.
As for the Trials, they are intended as difficult challenges, requiring either good understanding of the trial OR very high stats. First place is very attainable with stats around 30s if you know exactly what to do. But winning is not necessary anyway and failing certain tests might bring rewards of its own.
Well, you don't really get to the Olympian athlete or Mega-mind levels in the game. You just train to an "exceptionally good shape" and a "top student in your grade". Which are both very possible within a span of a year if you put your mind to it. The fact that you can get from 5 to a 100 withing a couple of months, and do all five skills within a year, well, that we'll have to write off as magical intervention =D
As for Elizabeth's sports outfit, well, I guess you'll have to wait for this one. As she is not in the same grade as you, and you have very few chances to see her in her sports outfit (unlike Gwen), she will have a very low priority there. Nonetheless, she does have a few new outfits planned for her. At least one of which should be pretty saucy =)
Well, deadlines are good too. You need to set some deadlines for yourself if you want to progress at some kind of a steady pace :) And also, I don't think there's a single person in existence that's 100% content with their work all the time. But it is nice to be reminded that loving what you make is important too :)
Also, nice to hear that you are helping Goodwill. Are you actually volunteering there or did you just sort stuff that you wanted to donate?
