Thanks :)

I uploaded downloadable versions but not in time for the jam.

Yes they were equipped. I tried all the different items. I thought maybe I wasn't supposed to show the mom the magazine. But then there was nowhere left to go.

Very cool :)

I also couldn't do anything after getting the jewels. They just say don't bother them.

Thanks for trying it out!  :)

Yes this was my first attempt at 3D so there was a learning curve with capturing the mouse, among other things. I spent most of the time figuring out some of the basic movement in 3D so I didn't get to the mechanics that more closely fit the theme, such as the player's emotions changing based how the people react, or having the people attracted or repelled by the player after interacting.

Very well made!

My only suggestion would be to make the hitboxes smaller for the spikes and the character's collision shape so that it allows for jumps from the tight spaces that are one character height. Either that or coyote time.

Well done

An engrossing experience. Very intriguing. Good use of the themes. Nice animations. Great sound design.

When you export the game for windows, it creates 2 files, the executable and the pck file. The easiest thing to do is to compress those into a .zip file and upload that file to Itch.io.

Has a very solid base. With a couple things cleaned up (coyote time, controls, audio) this would be a pretty polished game.

The music was cute, though it was mostly coming in through the left earpiece.

My recommended keyboard setup would be

  • Move:  choice of A/D  |  left/right arrows
  • Jump:   Spacebar        (or K/Z  if space is to switch)
  • Shoot:    J   or   X
  • Switch:      K/Z             (or Spacebar  if K/Z is to Jump)

For controller

  • Move: d-pad
  • Jump: a, cross, left trigger
  • Shoot: x, square, right trigger
  • Switch: b, circle

Needs a .pck bundled in the zip together with the .exe

Thanks for the feedback! Which part? I tested it on windows with chrome and it worked ok.

Thanks!!

Thanks! Glad you liked it 😊

Thanks Spider!

Very cool! Nice map design, colors, music and effects! Fun to explore and find things!

Great concept and implementation! Nice level design too : )
Thanks for including a volume option! I turned it down and really enjoyed the music!

Would love some more ratings! ♥️

Aww thanks! What a compliment! So happy you enjoyed the game : ) and thanks for the feedback!

Such a nice atmosphere. I really felt like I had a mini vacation! And in these times it was much needed :)

It was delightful and wholesome. I loved that I missed my flight (who wants to go back right now anyway!). The animals are cute and the color palette helps.

I couldn't help but wish to see the photos I took as the credits rolled. I thought maybe, just maybe, it would happen if I could find the where the flight was but I couldn't. I even  bought the flight back home!

Awww, you're too kind! We're happy you enjoyed it! And thanks for the great feedback about adding more flexible controls!

No YOU'RE amazing! 🦸

We really appreciate your generosity! And thanks for that great tip about collisions! You're absolutely right about checkpoints.

Thank you so much for trying out our game! We're so glad you enjoyed it and even took the time to so thoroughly review it! You're amazing! ❤️

Merci!

Thanks, that's what everyone says, haha. I like the difficulty of the movement, but I made an easy mode to start with.
