I also couldn't do anything after getting the jewels. They just say don't bother them.
Did you have the jewels as your equipped item? If not than I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear, if you did then there must be some bug I didn't find in my testing.
Yes they were equipped. I tried all the different items. I thought maybe I wasn't supposed to show the mom the magazine. But then there was nowhere left to go.
I'm so sorry. The game is supposed to end after you show the two of them the jewelry anyways though.

After interacting with something the game breaks, also the editor gives out an error when first started.

The game breaks upon interaction with anything (dialogue box shows up but no text appears). The visuals are very pleasing as well as the audio design.
Thank you. What were you interacting with when this problem occurred? The game uses different text colors to differentiate between characters talking, and the main characters text may have blended into the background on your monitor.
The error that appears is this:
[ERROR]: couldn't open file at res://DialogScripts/BookcaseAsHuman.json. Error number 7.
It displays when I interact with anything.[ERROR]: not a valid whiskers data, it has not the key Start.
SCRIPT ERROR: set_text_portion: Invalid get index 'text' (on base: 'Dictionary').

Oh dear, It seems I forgot to include the JSON files in the export settings. That's embarrassing.
