Delightful, cathartic, perhaps with an unexpected dash of workplace reality I didn't expect.

This game has so much soul. In fact it has a distressing amount of soul, maybe an amount that is starting to strain the seams and make ghosts leak from my computer. 11/10.

Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

I'm adding saving alongside several other updates in a patch coming soon. I'm hoping to have all of those posted early next week though I might also drop them in stages - Saving and more Chira animations are the first step though!

This is such an evocative game, the visuals and writing and even the sfx when you advance text fit together into such a smoldering sort of melancholy. Really efficient and effective, and I think it gave me a sympathetic heartburn.

Thanks! I'd like to put my latest game up for consideration:

Thank you!

The game is, at present, more of a teaser we created for a game jam and so it finishes up when you click on that hatch to the basement. Nothing is wrong with your game - that's all intentional. We hope to revisit this someday and build a lot more onto it but for now, thank you for enjoying what we have here!

YeaaaaAAAAAAAH!

This book is so slick, I love the way you've got the boss and encounter mechanics set up and there are SO many different kinds of stories I can already imagine for this system. I cannot way to find a reason to whip this out and use it as the basis for a campaign. Good Work on this!

Oh wow, I'm so glad you enjoyed the game so much! This is such a lovely review and it makes me happy to see that the game's themes landed so well!

77 Oleander Avenue Ghost House Investigation

77 Oleander - Full version now available!

On July 21st, 2022, a single investigator entered the abandoned home at 77 Oleander Avenue. Two hours afters after her arrival, she lost contact with the outside world. These are the events of that night. These are the remains of a ghost story, told for the sake of a Ghost.

77 Oleander Avenue: Ghost House Investigation is a Horror-Mystery Visual Novel in which you accompany Tabby, a paranormal researcher, through an abandoned home as she tries to find her missing wallet, keys, and phone - After all, she can't leave without them. It doesn't take long for her to meet Evie, a ghost, and this greatly irritates Tabby on account of she was hoping to just grab her things and get out of there quick. The Larkspur house on 77 Oleander, however, is not Evie's home. It is not the site of a bittersweet tragedy. It is not the skeleton left behind by a family's unexpected death. Tabby will realize this too late, and then, when she's finally ready to heed Evie's warnings, she will forget.

I love this crab. The walking animation is extremely cute and the grabby claws gameplay feels really fun and hectic in a nice way.

This was lovely, the design here looks great and I really enjoyed talking through things with the different ghosts!

Hello! Thank you so much I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

By all means please feel free to draw fanart! I would love to see it.

Warm Winter Evening will be out hopefully before June, a number of things both life and COVID related have hit me with heavy delays but, everything is all lined up for it so as soon as I get a little more time, I'm going to make that my top priority!

Thanks!

The game is fully released and by the end of the year I'll be releasing an update with a free bonus chapter. At present that's all on the development schedule beyond fixing any bugs and typos that I notice!

I'm sorry you're having trouble with that!

I'd definitely try both going through the itch desktop app and a browser to see - the files are just zip files there so it may be worth checking out https://itch.io/docs/buying/already-bought or contacting support if the issue keeps happening!

Please let me know if you're able to fix this and I hope you can enjoy the game soon!
