Thanks for playing! Yeah 100% I sadly couldn't get that mechanic to work, really does need it to make it more fun tbh - But it was my first time coding so hopefully in the future I can figure it out and return to this project to add that feature haha

Nice game! like the DK feel, nice idea to play as the boss, felt good to play overall. Nice job :D

Hope it helps you out for your future endeavors! Was really fun and satisfying eating the foods! And loved the little screen of the ghost after completing the round, really nice touch ;D 

Awesome fun, felt the tension and the progression was great. The tutorial messages were simple and easy to follow. Mechanics were well done, the number pad was really satisfying, hiding was good and nice animation. Stealing is cool that the size/value increases the intense clicking needed! 

Only critiques would be some more sfx, improved music,  and maybe a change of music when the security level raises. And art is fine, nothing special but not bad. BUUT that being said, for 7 days solo this is awesome, and genuinely fun! Thats what games are for right? :D 

First off, really loved the intro, even the how to play transition, and the overall artwork is amazing! The colours and compositions used during the intro were great. Then in game, the environment and parallax are a nice little icing on the cake

 Few little critiques: 

For the shop, would be nice to have had like a spend 5, 10, 50 etc points on upgrades, spam clicking takes too long to upgrade.  

Gameplay wise, personally it starts off a bit slow in terms of progression. Like the player could kill some weaker mobs for the initial coins and upgrades, then ramp up in difficulty and it wouldnt feel 'slow' But that could just be me D:  Hope that makes sense.  BUUT! The mechanics implemented are great and satisfying, and the rewind is a cool touch! Seriously awesome stuff!

Nice work! The intro was a really nice way to get into the game, maybe could have some music for it too. something chill/homely feeling? But was straight away impressed!

 I like the art, one concern is some tiles in the 2nd level I wasnt sure if they were solid objects or in background, E.g. pillars. Maybe make them contrast more with the solid tiles. Musics nice, gameplay was cool. Personally the movement is a little too fast, and Id prefer WASD controls, but was fun nonetheless. Excellent job for your first game, solo too!
