AlphaBetaGamer picked it up and liked it!

Hey thanks for playing! The gameplay is pretty much what you see, the story will lean into of a more of a cosmic horror vibe. The game will feature puzzles like in RE and the gameplay will have a more survival-like / harder difficulty option in the full game. I am trying to keep the demo relatively easy to complete.

Thanks a lot!

Remember to wishlist, rate it and if you found any bugs I would be grateful if you would let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks bro!! Make sure you rate it if you liked it.

Thank you! Make sure to give it a rating here on itch. I don’t know if it helps the algorithm or not - but couldn’t hurt.

Gotcha. Did you try lowering the resolution, that could also help if you keep the fog on, since it has a 240p filter on it anyway. Also remember to rate the game on itch if you enjoyed it.

I did, only me since I am solo dev :) Remember to rate the game here on itch too if you liked it!

Yo! Thanks Erik!

Solo dev here. Working on Pinnacle Point, a horror game.

Playing as Aron, you return to save your brother. But the island hasn’t forgiven. And it hasn’t forgotten.

Thank you. Did you play with VOlumetric Effects off? The game looks so much different in your playtrhough. Did you turn it off for performance?

Cool vid. Thanks for playing!!

Hey, thanks for trying it out. What resolution did you use?

Whoever downloads it first - could you please confirm that the game starts up fine? (I had to remove some of the Steam DRM stuff last minute to be able to upload it to itch and I want to be sure it runs.) Thank you, whoever you are!

Just finished it. Very good demo! I wish there was more from the story present but I understand it’s just the gameplay on offer here. Really good job otherwise! I am attaching my playthrough.

These are quite awesome. I will use these in my game. Very cool ambiance / music tracks.

First of all, congratulations on the project. Nagyon vagany lett! I have so many questions. How long did it take you to make this? Are you a solo developer? Are you working in the industry? Did you have modelers working with you on this or was this a solo effort on your end? Sorry for the multitude of questions, but as a solo developer myself I am just super curios. I am extremely happy that the audience finally found you and wish you the best!

I loved the vibe and the sound design. Very atmospheric.

Looks amazing!

I understand. Thank you for checking it out! :)

I enjoyed it. Sometimes I almost got stuck but managed to figure it out eventually. Charming art style. I wish i had this on my old Nokia :)

Pinnacle Point

Hi. Fun little game. I think I kind of exploited that spiky wheel thingy with all the HP and I kept winning. I guess it’s not easy to balance it. But cool concept. Maybe there could be a small boss already configured for you when you start or some splash artwork that says make a boss, fight in the arena. I would make that like a stick figure animation when loading the game instead of the text since we have to wait for it to load anyway.

You have raised some great points here! I kind of agree with you on the exposition’s heaviness. Hopefully I’ll be able to bring something new into the digital afterlife story. :) But I’ll be taking your suggestions to heart. I am delighted that you have enjoyed the atmosphere!

This was fun.

Inspired by narrative games made in RPG Maker I made the jump to Unity and tried to blend text interaction with adventure and 3rd person gameplay. It’s mostly a story setup with some cinematic stuff for mood. Let me know what you think.

The working title is: Pinancle Point

The style is: Tech-noir mystery-thriller set in the 1980’s.

Super! Glad to hear that.

Thank you!

Thanks! I will do that right now.

Thanks!

Good one. Congrats! I wouldn’t change a thing.
