Great music and visuals! fun to play through though my dyslexic ass is playing on extra hard 💀

I really like this game! It's great! The only issue I had is that I realized I could beat at least the latter half of the levels without adjusting any of the BPMs from the start and still get 3 stars. Other than that though great game and great job!

Thanks for the advice and thanks a lot for playing, glad you had fun!

Thanks glad you had fun!

Thanks! Appreciate it

You have to hit R to load a track and then the game starts. Also spacebar is a dash and only works when hit on beat!

Thank you! Glad you had fun and wish you well!! :D

Ye we were late to join so we didn't have time to implement much beyond a very simple system. Would love to in the future though obviously mix it up far more. Hope you still had a little fun and have a nice day

Hello! ヾ(^∇^) I hope y'all have a lil fun with this and have a nice day! Excited to play your submissions!

Small disclaimer! The Rhythm syncing can apparently be off on the webGL version sometimes so apologies if this happens while playing. Wish y'all well and have a nice day! (Also remember to press R to start when in game)

Feels really good to control! It feels really good to wait for the right moment to strike and BLAST a fish with the shotgun. The music sounds great and

gotta appreciate the plastic bag boss fight. If the next souls game doesn't have a plastic bag boss fight AT LEAST once I'M NOT PLAYING IT!

*spoilers ended*

Sincerely tho really fun, recommend anyone to give this one a try. Fun and simple in the best way those words can be used, the kinda game you can get into and play all of about 6 seconds and know you'll enjoy it for the rest of your time with it. Mechanically nuanced but simple to understand is a great thing. Great work! (´∀`)b

Thanks for enjoying the game! I'm glad you found the level skips and other little things like that fun :). Building the levels was such a treat!  I'm glad it made you FEEL like morbius(the vampire) i put a little morb in every note! Lastly i expect a billl movie to be releasing SOON once Sony comes to my emails to get it set up, it's' the only logical conclusion.

(But actually lastly thanks a ton for playing it! Brings me tons of joy to know you found fun in it! ^U^)

So far my favorite of the jam! The level design is really well thought out allowing the player to sort of pick their difficulty. Great atmosphere and the sound design is fantastic! Also really love how the game controls and your implementation of the theme and limitations are great. The music is great too! I really like the tense moments you get when you start getting attacked and the placement for the flashlight rechard on the keyboard forces the player in a sorta uncomfortable position which forces them to give up either shooting or movement. This is like your favorite cartoonnetwork flashgame as a kid just genuinely really well made!

Thanks! I was responsible for everything but the primary coding so it was really hard to get everything right, neither of us are much of artists but I'm glad you still found a charm with it! ^u^ thanks for playing and havin fun!

Thanks a ton! We wanted to add checkpoint but we never quite got around it, but you're def right it would help a lot especially on first run throughs while players get comfortable. Thanks for the feed back and thanks for playing our game! ^u^

Yea sorry the room was lit properly but we had a last minute bug that just turned off all the lights in it for some reason but only in the version with the menu lol, also duley noted! It was hard to tell since I was the only one play testing it I just sorta got used to it so changing it felt awkward to me at that point but if I ever patch the game we'll try and implement a bit more air control! Our only solution we had for a quick fix at the time was changing acceleration but that took away a lot of the platformings weight, so hopefully we can find some way to mend that. Once again thanks for the feed back! ^-^

Fun idea and overall a nice experience

This one was great! I really liked the way you used the idea and the presentation was mwah top notch!

Yea! I felt so bad about that, it was most the teams first time doing a game jam and the one guy who was familiar had never done a HUD based game before so we were all trying to experiment with it, but in the end it took so long to just make sure everything was working okay that we had no time to construct much of a proper tutorial level. I even had a concept designed at one point, so if we ever expand on the game past the jam we'll for sure add stuff like tutorial levels to help the player get a grasp of certain mechanics and when they're best used. Thank you for playing by the way! Next Jam we do (assuming we do one) we'll make sure to get a tutorial proper built so stuff like potential confusion can be cleared up easily.
