Gonna have to deduct some points on the color thing, the prompt said 4 colors, not 4 colors at a time. Tsk tsk.

Jk great job!  I really enjoyed it.  Especially loved the apathy of the main character "here's the story or whatever, who cares."  very fun little game.  The little jumping puzzle to get the flower that was furthest to the right was a little tricky until I realized that a normal long jump would take you from the first platform to the third, and you could skip the second.  Remember the little one-tile jump in the original TMNT game on the NES where you tried over and over to jump it, and every time you hit the ceiling and fall down and have to fight through the entire room again, then you realize you can just run over it without pressing jump?  That puzzle kind of felt like that.  The evil homing balls were a pain until I realized that I could kill them.  Everything else was spot on.  Great job.  Can't wait for the sequel   "That Time I Had to Go Back to SomePlanet and Find an FTL (Whatever That Is)"

dang great job, wasn't supposed to happen, but I never beat it 🤣

Nice job.  I won.. somehow.  not sure, I killed like.. 0.15 million and then it said "Game Over you Win".

Also does the large demonic tavern do anything? it says it generates S(ouls?) but they didn't seem to go up when the building ticked over.

Assembly required.... lol great job dude!

Hey you made the first GODOT tutorial I ever saw.

Great job man! Loved the difficulty scale.  Would love to see what this would look like if you had time to really polish it.

Awesome.  Great job!

Very good job, loved the artwork, and the minigames were fun!

Haha Nice job, and I loved the twist.  Fun little game.  I really enjoyed it!

Touching story.  Great job!  Especially for your first game jam! So glad you participated, I cant wait to see what you come up with next time!

Awesome game, great job!

I loved playing through it. the music was awesome, and your pixel art is on point! Excellent!

thank you so much, glad you liked it!

thanks a ton, I'm glad you enjoyed it !

Yeah I totally understand that.  Great job though!

not at all, but go play it, totally great game!

haha sorry about the jump scare. Glad you enjoyed it!

I just found an old purchase from humble bundle that was literally "Robot vocals for an RTS or shooter.  Oh well ..

Omg I read something about that a while back and then completely blanked on it!  Totally would have helped!

Great Job!  Very nice!  Pokemon with a mad scientist, love it!  The ending gave me Cult of the Lamb true ending vibes, love it!

I just built the tower then picked up the top brick and used it to defend the tower, not sure if it was what I'm supposed to do, but I had fun

Loved it.  Very fun.  The art direction is *chef's kiss*

I was playing after a while thinking "Nice, but its getting kind of easy..." then BAM a thousand enemies and my shotgun overheats!

on windows

thanks, glad you liked it.

I originally did a homemade navigation, then scrapped it and went with navagent2d.  For whatever reason that completely bugged out the HTML5 release.  Who knows.  I tried to get NavigationAgent2D implemented on the last day, but it never seemed much better than the one I had originally built. Probably some settings I needed to tweek.

I was working on independent unit selection, and double click to select all of the same type of units, but could not get the "mouse entered" signal on my units. Like no idea what UI element was preventing it, but after an hour or so struggling with it I moved on to get a release out.

Didnt even notice the sound, thanks for letting me know.

Yeah when I got to play test it was much easier scrolling with wasd than with the mouse.

Rally points / setting a location for units to go to from the building was cut due to time.  Will put them in if I ever work more on it.  Also cut was repairing units and buildings, building new buildings, power plants (ended up just using them for decoration) and heat sinks (was going to have a temperature system where you built heat while building units, and had to build structures that would bleed off the heat so you could keep building.. idk)

I will probably pick this back up after a while (hopefully fix the HTML5 bug so it's not a pain to play). But thanks for the input, and thanks for playing!

Haha great job!  I squashed ant fascism.  I feel accomplished.  Definitely want more!

Good job, I see the potential.  I will play again when i have an opponent.

Maybe add more of a tutorial, it took me a while to figure out what to do.

They weren't bad by any means, did you ever play the old mech warrior games... they controlled just like that.

Hey, did I download the wrong file? I had the same issue as Gabriele.  I get through the opening screens but when I hit "play" I see the town but my guy just falls into an endless grey void.

Thanks! glad you liked it.  toying with the idea of doing an updated release after the jam.

Cool.  good job.

I couldnt figure out what to do to get past the red and green gates on the next to the last level,  but did you know you could fall off the map and softlock the game?

I enjoyed it.  good job.

Had a little trouble starting, cause it froze up on the splash screen twice, not sure why.

A couple things I would do that I think would be improvements,

The controls, maybe have the leg rotation gradually move towards the body rotations, so that you can steer with the mouse, and use A and D as strafing buttons, that may make the combat feel a little better.

the Elevators, if they just sensed what level you were on, and waited for you to get on before they activated... waiting on an elevator isn't fun.

Put some kind of flash or indicator on the thermometer.  For way too long I just thought I was taking damage to a glitch that seemed to happen when I was on the stairs.  I didnt realize I needed to buy the insulation until way late.

Overall really fun though!

I loved the song.  Took me a while to figure out what I was doing, but once I got it I enjoyed it.

Cute!  I enjoyed it.  only one suggestion I can offer is to maybe disable pressing down while holding a snowball.  I kept accidentally dropping a tiny snowball and then putting the bottom of my snowman on top.

hah missed that, I'll try again!

I love your art style!

haha lots of fun!

Haha great job.  very interesting idea.

I would add a second butcher.  I saw the more oven space, but I never needed more oven space, I was cooking all the parts the second they were made.

very fun though.

Fun game.  Would love to try multiplayer sometime.

Three suggestions, add a respawn option on death, so instead of going back to the splash screen I can jump right back into the action without waiting.

Maybe add a "safe zone" around the player that prevents enemies from spawning.  Almost every death I took was caused by someone spawning right next to me and cheap shotting me.

Lastly I didn't see an obvious way to heal damage.  Maybe in the upgrade menu add "heal for XX scrap"?

Neat game.  I would add a reset button (or if there already is one make it more obvious)

yeah it's a glitch with the NavigationAgent2D node in HTML5.  I couldn't get the updated version uploaded before the deadline.  Download the game and it should work for you.

Great job,  I'm with Maack though, I beat the game and still don't understand the rules. I just kept making moves and it kept working.  (also you might want to scrap the design on level three,)

You ever write the same word so many times that you start to question whether its a real word or not... Unstabilized.

Great job!

Only had a couple of issues.  You should tell me what I'm supposed to do in the game so that I don't have to read the instructions to know.  (I did figure it out after the first time I died and saw I had done 0 sacrifices)  The graphic for the... I think coconut... I was running all over looking for the little brown thing, and then I picked up a little green thing and it counted.  maybe there's a way to make that clear.  Also, some sort of timer, so that I know how long I have left before the temple is consumed by the void would be good.

Overall amazing job!
