Thanks! I ran into a few problems and ended up not having enough time to implement some more buildings and features. Was gonna try and make a leaderboard with points and stuff. I'm glad you (and your son) liked it though, thanks!

Neat game! I'm a bit of a sucker for Black Holes so that was the main intrigue what got me to play it. Main notes I took (in my head), I think the camera should be zoomed out a bit more. Especially as your character gets brighter, it can get really hard to see. And on the last bit of stairs maybe a way for the character to be able to run up the stairs instead of having to jump up each one for player convince. Overall great job though! Game was cool!

Cool Game! Music was nice. I had a bug free playthrough which is always nice. I think my main recommendations would be to make the notes correspond to the the music playing and fully embrace that rhythm game style! Right now it feels more like space invaders with audio visualizing enemies, which I definitely fits the theme. Good Job!

Yea, I didn't have quite enough time to add in a proper objective yet. The enemy is also invisible (since he's in a separate dimension and all). The main way to detect his is via the beeper, and he can only track you with noise and touch. Meaning, if you have your beeper out when it's going at max beepage then he will hear that, so you have to turn it off and stand still or figure out how to sneak away without him hearing you. Thanks for playing even if it was a bit out of your comfort zone though!

Yea, he's a bit stupid right now. I made him a bit faster in the most recent patch (which just launched) that way he can at least catch you if you're just walking away.

Glad you liked it! Yea, I'll have to look into the video memory issue. Someone else pointed that out as well. It doesn't show up on my end, so I wasn't aware of it. I do have graphics settings which I think by default are set to max, so maybe lowering those would make it run a bit better. Thanks for playing!

Great game! Definitely has a great gameplay loop. Hp was a bit confusing. And I didn't quite understand what some of the "buffs" did. Really good job, keep it up!

Neat game! Would be nice to have a volume option as it was very loud. Good job!

Rated it with my honest take, here's mine.

Great game! The narrative was quite confusing. Didn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to what was going on. I also found it repetitive to have to hover 3 times on each. Once I knew how it worked, there wasn't really anything else, just felt like it was dragging on. Really good job though, keep it up!

Neat game! The transition from exposition to game was confusing. The story just cut out and shoved me in the game. I've played similar games before, so I knew what to do. I will say that there needs to be more scaling. It started off very intense, and it was very difficult to actually get to any of the exp orbs, and it took too many to level up to be able to get to them. Needs some rebalancing and polishing, but good job!

Neat little game! Good job!

Nice game! I think it could definitely be improved with some more roguelike elements like upgrades. I also didn't really see the point of the warp mechanic (I can understand if you mainly threw it in there to get the theme or didn't have enough time to make it do much though). I spent all my time in the combat dimension. Overall good job, keep it up!

Neat game! Could definitely use a bit of polish with the movement. My camera clipped through everything. The movement also felt a bit rigid when running around and falling off of things. The people were very confusing, it was hard to avoid them, especially when they'd see me come out of a rathole. Overall good job though, keep it up!

Nice game! My biggest complaint is the FOV being way too low. It could also use a bit more in terms of music. Good job, keep it up!

Nice game! It was fairly straightforward. I definitely think that I could've had a bit more variety in the combat. It was very aim, click, repeat. Although I see you had ideas for that, but ran out of time, which is fine. Good job guys, keep it up!

Neat game! I think the atmosphere was pretty well done. The sounds were pretty good, although I'm gonna have to complain about how loud that car beeping sound was. This is more so my take, but I didn't care for the jumpscare at the very end, it didn't really fit in with anything and seemed incredibly random. What I was actually thinking was gonna happen and might've been a cooler route was perhaps they appeared inside the vehicle next to you when you're driving away. Maybe even the back seat or so. Either way, good job, keep it up guys!

Great game! Would definitely be nice to know the controls somewhere in the game (although I see you noticed from the other comments, they did say that you can make small changes to the game post submission, so you could definitely add a bit of text saying them if you want to.) The music was fiting, although I think a bit more variation would've been nice. Movement was mostly pretty solid, there were definitely a few times when pressing the x key would just not pickup the box mid-combat though, which led to quite a few infuriating deaths. I would also say that it would be convenient to make the enemies not respawn every time. Maybe if you beat them 3 times they never respawn? Overall good job guys, keep it up!

Neat game. Very confusing. It'd be helpful if there was a way to pull up the hints again. I also noticed that when I was fullscreen all the text would not be visible (hints, escape menu, etc.) It was also a bit frustrating with the pad that you had to stand on to beat the level. I had to go back and forth over it several times before it properly activated. I also was not able to adjust the volume of music and sound. On level 2 the music was way too loud. I did like it though, it's a clever game with decent music. Keep it up!

The replayability is quite high on this one. Great art. Music is good, although it can get a bit repetitive. I think a nice addition in the future would be to add a campaign mode to flesh out the story and maybe introduce a few new mechanics. Love the game, keep it up! I could see this being released for purchase in the future if given enough love.

Game looks very nice! The main thing that I think would make the game more fun would be better fighting mechanics. You don't need anything crazy but maybe a few skills and a bit longer range of the baguette. But overall nice base to expand upon, good job!

Thanks for the comment! I'm sorry that your game crashed, but happy you enjoyed what you saw. I think the main reason it got to the state that it's in was mainly because it was something I genuinely wanted to make, and therefore devoted most of the time making. It definitely isn't that crazy, but I'm happy to hear that you liked it, thanks!

I think that would work well!

Neat game! My biggest gripe was how loud the music was. It kinda blasted my ears. Otherwise, I experienced a bug where my mouse wouldn't appear on the death screen and I had to restart the game. I don't think I need to mention the mountain. Also, the character moves diagonally when trying to go straight, although, it's not that bad. Good job!

Thanks for the review! Just to note on some of your points.

1. Yea, I wanted to figure out how to only load 1 or 2 floors at a time or chunk load to reduce lag, but didn't have the time to figure it out.

2. The menu was the very last thing I made so there are definitely some aspects that I would've wanted to improve on.

3. The purple smoke was a teleporting mechanic that I was playing around with and forgot to remove :p. If you walk through it, it teleports you somewhere else. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to soft lock you from the rest of the maze, but can be fixed by regening the maze since it only appears on the first floor.

The monkey represents dead ends. Thanks!

Fantastic game! The last 2 levels were especially challenging. I did have a bit of a problem with being killed by a bullet that I couldn't see here and there, but I think that's mainly because of having to play it on the browser, which tends to be really laggy. The movement sounds also got a bit annoying after a while. Great job!

Great game! I think you could've added a lot more sound to the game, however. Good Job!

Neat game! My main gripe is the feeling that the pacing was a bit off. It felt like the game was moving way too fast after the first episode. Also, the abrupt THE END screens were a bit off-putting, but not in a horror way, more so annoying. I did enjoy it overall though, so good job!

Neat game! Love the art and music. It might be nice if there was a bit more. Good job!

Great game! Music was pleasant and graphics were good! I think it would be a bit better if the gun didn't lose much accuracy whilst moving, though. I personally like running around shooting, and having to slow down the gameplay to shoot seems counterproductive. Good job!

I pulled the player controller from a separate project, so it doesn't have a purpose. The purple cloud sometimes gets in the way, but it should only ever be on the first floor, so if you can't get past, I'd recommend regenerating a new maze in the pause menu. The monkey head represents a dead end. Also, I put it in the text on the main menu, but if you get stuck you can press 'P' to show the way. if the orb goes through the teleport and the teleporter soft locks, you then regen the maze. Thanks for the review!

Yea, sorry about that. I was playing around the teleport mechanic and forgot to remove it. If you regenerate, you should be able to get a maze where it isn't in the way. I would just steer clear of the teleport. The wall clipping was also a problem that I just didn't have the time to work out. Thanks for the review!

Yea no problem!

Neat game! It would be nice if there was someway to restart after you died. The music was also very loud and seemed to only be a loop of a few second sample, it would be nice to have the option to change how loud it was and have a bit more. I also noticed that if you spam move with the red character, you just wouldn't fall. Good job!
