Rated, thanks. What an interesting and unique game!

The game has a nice atmosphere and is quite well designed. I do agree with the previous criticism that it's frustrating to go back and forth because you just can't roll the right number. I think one way you could deal with this is some kind of collectible that can nudge the roll either up or down. There's other ways to deal with it as well. But right now I think it's a problem, because I just had to quit after getting stuck on a level with seemingly no end in sight. Very good job though, the game was otherwise fun and polished!

Thanks! Rated yours, very interesting idea :D

Impressive that you made everything yourself! I liked the attention to detail in the game, the idea and story, but to be honest I didn't think the gameplay itself was that much fun. For me it felt too repetitive and stressful. Good work on the presentation though!

Played and rated! Incredible game :D

I loved the design of this game! I only got stuck for like a minute and it felt really good to figure it out. I liked how the platforming wasn't too difficult, because I really suck at it haha. I think it could have visually been made more interesting, it made the levels feel very samey because everything always looked purple.

Overall, solid game and best I've played so far!

Nice and creepy atmopshere, I enjoyed the game, thanks!

This game is very unique and I enjoyed everything except the jumping challenge, I just suck so bad at that and can't handle it haha! I got 7/8 employees reprimanded

Seems like the background ambience doesn't loop that well and I can hear a click every time it loops, it kinda bugged me haha. That might happen if you are using .mp3.

Great job overall :D

Rated, nice and polished game!

I beat the game! #EASTEREGG. I would have liked to see a victory screen :D

The idea was interesting to combine minesweeper with turn-based battles, but I think the battles were far too easy and predictable.

Good job making the game look polished though!

Oh man. This takes me back to jump quests in Maplestory, I can't handle it haha! Great game though, you made me rage :D

I think it's a very well executed game and everything is very clear, I just suck at these type of games :D  I always manage to somehow fall from the top to the bottom haha.

Boss fights are life man! Thanks!

Cool boss fight, I liked the different stages and the abilities!

I was playing on a controller and I think having the sword attack on RB (right bumper) makes more sense, because then you can use right stick to aim. I might also be used to Elden Ring controls because I've played that a lot lately haha.

It was a fun little game, I chuckled at the end :D Good job!

We need a few more ratings to qualify, help us! I will rate your game and leave a comment with some feedback if you rate our game :D

Fun game! I wish the camera was zoomed out a bit so I could see a bit more.

I killed myself with the bazooka :D

Nice atmosphere and the level design was cool! The game is very buggy unfortunately, I kept getting stuck in different places. Good job overall though, I'd definitely play a more polished version of this.

Rated yours! We need a few more ratings as well :D

Interesting game! It was very difficult but I liked it. I think the controls would have felt better if you could look up and down.

I had a little bug where I fell through the level and had to force quit, since there was no restart button.

Nice idea and beautiful art! I would have like to see some more content, perhaps a way to win the game? Or maybe I missed it.

Good job!

Felt and looked real nice! Shame it didn't have a lot of content..

Good job on your first game written in Rust!

It's a nice and simple game! Would have liked to hear some music :)

I think the level design could be made more interesting and the boss fights were a bit confusing.

After downloading the missing files I was able to play the game.

I was so confused first why my sword couldn't kill anything but finally understood that the sword was a lie, haha. It took longer than I care to admit. I think the game would actually be a lot more fun if you could kill enemies with your sword.

+ Artstyle is cute. Reminds me of Blackthornprod. (- maybe a bit too much though)

+ Nice with visual and sound feedback from actions.

+ Sound and music fits the theme.

+ No major bugs.

- The only gameplay is to lure enemies into traps to get score. This seems like a secondary objective. I feel like a primary objective is missing, for example finding the way out of the dungeon or something like that. By doing this you could also add more levels.

- Camera doesn't pan fast enough. For example, if you walk downwards you can walk into a trap that you can't even see and die.

Good job on the game, it's an interesting theme!

For a beginner, this game is decent! You can play the game from start to finish, with no major bugs and there's a clear objective.

If you wanted to take this game to the next level, I would have liked to see a more unified theme, better visuals and sfx. Maybe add something to engage the player a bit, because right now the player is most likely on autopilot, at least in the later levels where you can see the gem from where you spawn. You just have to walk from point A to point B and that's not engaging. The ending feels a bit forced to match the theme of the game jam and doesn't really tie into the gameplay.

Also first thing I tried to do was to press ESC to change mouse sensitivity : ) (which didn't work)

Overall, solid work though.

Hello everyone!

I'm writing my Game Development bachelor thesis at the University of Skövde in Sweden. I need some participants to test out a 2D platformer prototype and then answer a survey. Participation should take between 10-30 minutes. (Depends on how good of a gamer you are :) )

Thanks!
