How does you game fit the theme?
The theme of "it is not real" fits into this game, mainly tied together by the ending text, which explains that the gem that is the objective isn't real.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, most of the code was done by myself, however, as a beginner, most other things I had to use other assets for.

For a beginner, this game is decent! You can play the game from start to finish, with no major bugs and there's a clear objective.
If you wanted to take this game to the next level, I would have liked to see a more unified theme, better visuals and sfx. Maybe add something to engage the player a bit, because right now the player is most likely on autopilot, at least in the later levels where you can see the gem from where you spawn. You just have to walk from point A to point B and that's not engaging. The ending feels a bit forced to match the theme of the game jam and doesn't really tie into the gameplay.
Also first thing I tried to do was to press ESC to change mouse sensitivity : ) (which didn't work)
Overall, solid work though.
That ending made me LOL.
This game is worth playing. I enjoyed it from start to finish. The fact that there are multiple levels shows your dedication as a developer and creator. It also has no game breaking bugs as far as I'm concerned. It was even emotionally impactful.
Thanks for making this.
Give this first time developer's game a try!
As a beginner - you were able to complete the game - it is an achievement in itself.
-> Controls were fine.Objective was clear.
-> A good twist at the end.
-> Add some feedback - audio/visual etc.
Nice work.
