There is a sweet spot with the boss, if you are ontop of the normal enemies you can just dash up and attack for free.  The second attack kind of deals with that, but it only happens twice or so.
The dash up is an awesome move, but it wasn't intuitive for me and it took me a bit to figure out how to get out of the first hole.

The background in the dungeon/castle was a little monotonous.

I really loved the character art and the enemy art. The boss art was amazing and the background for the boss was equally impressive.  Overall I enjoyed it and I hope you keep working on it!

I really loved this entry. There were a few times when the camera did not quite keep up and I had to jump before it would recenter. The art style is awesome and the player movements are excellent. I liked the fast paced gameplay, but the combo amount to open the doors seemed a bit much. Overall excellent entry, I hope you continue to develop this one.

I liked the general vibe of the game, but it felt a little slow. I liked that the wall jump had a skill aspect, but it didn't seem to come up much in the game. Overall it has a lot of potential, keep it up!

I really liked the game and the style. Having to juggle the hammer and sword, combined with the slow movement, was a little tedious. It was definitely fun to smash the walls, and the effects were nice. It was a great experience overall.

It was fun. I hope you can combine those elements into larger levels.

You nailed the NES aesthetic and evoked a Simon's quest vibe.

I used the mouse to work around the controls, but once I got mobile mode back off it was great.

Something I didn't see mentioned was using the escape key to get to the options menu pulls you out of full screen mode and the option to restore it in game is cut off at the top.

I t really does look great, Good Luck!

I loved the feel of the game and, for the most part, the art style. The background was particularly amazing.  Keep it up!

I really liked the art and lighting. The only exception was the jumping sprite, which resembles a creeper face from Minecraft. I know it isn't,  but it pulled me out of the immersion a little.
I loved the enemies, both art and their movements, but they had a little too much HP for the attack. It seems like you padded the HP a bit to make up for it, though.

The music was lovely and fit with the art and game style.

Oh no, I certainly didn't want to torture anyone lol. I hadn't actually heard of coyote time. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm seeing that a lot, so I'll put my focus there.

I really liked the movement and general style of the game. I did run into a few minor issues:
Playing in the browser, it froze on me a couple of times (entering the first room & the first time I used the second skill).
The background seemed to jump when changing rooms, which was a bit jarring.
A very well put together entry.

I liked the character design, and the gameplay was smooth.

For example, when you are moving left, you can repeatedly jump, but when you are moving right, you can only jump once until you lift your finger from the D key and repress it. The player changes the direction they are facing based on where the cursor is relative to the player. This causes the player to run backward until you move the mouse to the other side. It should, of course, change direction when you actually fire the spells.
On the non-gameplay side, the jumping animation has a bit too much horizontal movement for me, but that's just an opinion.
I hope you find this constructive. Making the game you like is what matters :D.

Excellent game. I think we were all looking forward to this one. The art and atmosphere are great. I hope you do more with it post-jam.

Very cool game. I really like the customizable character idea.

I really like the background art. The gameplay is a little rough, but having to use the side effects of the bad spells to proceed (like jumping with the knockback from the first one) is perfectly on theme.

Wonderful art and gameplay!

Nice use of the theme. I like the art too.

A really great, well-rounded experience. The item pick-up text is a little too fast or too thin.

I'm not quite sure how to get started. My key presses never seemed to register.

Great game! The screenshots helped, lol.

The art is great. Keep working on it!

Very strong entry.  The theme use is a little subtle (I had to look at the comments). The art really comes together and the transitions look very cool.

It looks good. The game zooms out when you die, and then the enemies stop chasing you. I'm not sure if that is a feature.

Great art! I like how the boss moves.

Great use of the theme!

Just two.

Wonderful game! A new twist on each level.

very good to know. Ty

Great music and cute graphics. Similar concerns about the game play, but still a good submission.

It seems I set the distance too high in testing. Thank you so much for playing it though.

Great puzzle game!

Great use of the theme!

I really enjoyed the audio!

Great Game!

Best Game I've seen so far!
