Hey! Are you still looking for a project?
Here is more info about our project: https://itch.io/t/4838460/art-2d-unpaid-looking-for-pixel-artist-to-join-our-cyb...
Hit me up if you're interested!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! You're absolutely right—we definitely got a bit too ambitious for our first game jam and ran out of time to polish things properly (classic first-time gamejam dev move 😅). The jump you mentioned is, unfortunately, impossible as it stands—something we plan to fix along with improving the overall platforming feel.
Huge thanks for mentioning "coyote time" too—that’s super helpful, and we’ll definitely research and implement it. The team is excited to keep working on the game, expanding it, and making everything more consistent and polished. Hopefully, you'll check it out again down the line when it's in a much better shape! 😊
Hey everyone!
I’m the developer of Bloodfuel – a 2D action platformer with a synthwave/cyberpunk vibe, originally made for a recent game jam. The game features fast-paced combat, tight controls, and an atmospheric pixel-art aesthetic.
We're planning to expand and polish the game post-jam, adding new levels, enemies, improved visuals, and more content. I’m now looking for a 2D pixel artist to join the project long-term and help bring it to the next level.
What I’m Looking For:
-
Someone passionate about pixel art and cyberpunk aesthetics
-
Comfortable with creating level environments, character/enemy sprites
-
Able to collaborate, give feedback, and grow the project together
Important:
-
You’ll be fully credited
-
Your creative input is welcome and encouraged
