Oh Jeez, that sounds bad indeed! Sorry for the poor experience!

Haha, yep, that's a clever feature! The game is simply supposed to end at this point. Which, on a web game, corresponds to crashing, because web browsers don't allow interacting outside the scope of the game.
But if you saw it as a bug, it is probably a case of bad game design. When I designed it, I did not expect the web version to just freeze instead of closing, and the only way to avoid this behavior was implementing a game over screen, which I did not have the time to do.
Oh that was awesome! I have such a soft spot for those graphics <3
Somehow at first I missed the subtext that this was an ongoing conversation about random topics between 3 friends... Once I read your description, it all connected, and made the whole thing so much more meaningful!
I think a lot of us can relate to that feeling of conversations among friends turning into an actual chore as you try to keep up with the topics and haphazardly conjure up some meaningful contribution to them.
This submission was definitely the one I found the most relatable, as real-life social interactions have always been my hardest struggle.
Huge appreciation for the voiceover rendition! It was funny, on point, and actually served its purpose as an informative mechanic of the game.
The game was a little too hard for me to see through, but it is all on me and my terrible skillset: the mechanics seemed smooth and straightforward.
Compliments on the overall design of the scenery, horses and characters! Is it fair to say it is reminiscent of the game Superhot?
Man, this was ruthless! That judging Beholder monster that keeps on spawning eyes was especially tricky to get past, even on standard difficulty T_T
I certainly did not feel treated like a human, which I suppose was the idea behind this. :)
Thank you for sharing this obviously traumatic experience of captchas with us. I must say, it might be my favorite overall execution of the jam so far :) the design is spot-on, the music is great, the mechanics are clever and well implemented.
As mentioned by others, I also got a hard Unity crash after reaching that much anticipated 10/10, which I thought weirdly fit into the overall tone of the game lol. I would definitely vouch for not fixing it and considering it canon instead. :D
Thank you so much for that outpouring of praise, and especially for setting all this up! You did a fantastic job and I can't wait for the showcase later today.
Your game jam allowed me to conjure just the right amount of recklessness I needed to finally put this game idea out there, so it means a lot to me that you found some joy playing it. :)
Am off to play the other submissions!
Thank you, you are too kind!
Credits for that "replying-too-fast" feature idea go to my very dear friend STESSNIQ, a fellow game dev hobbyist with much to teach me!
It is also a stark reminder of how important playtesting can be: just a half hour spent on letting a diverse sample of people put their hands on your horribly disfigured prototype, as soon as it is playable, can result in leaps of improvement with a moderate amount of tweaking.
I know, right? It takes a lot of the mental strain and guilt away, knowing that you have only that limited set of options to choose from.
Although George is a sweetheart, if I continue working on this, I definitely want to explore having a wider range of consequences to the player's choice of words. Nathan Hoad's amazing Dialogue Manager enables so many possibilities that it would be a shame not to put it to good use!
Thank you for this kind review!
Thank you, that means a lot coming from a skilled Game Dev such as you!
I was indeed trying to convey some of my experiences from talking in real life, while also keeping the dialogue engaging and lighthearted.
Alas, I am as poorly skilled in conversation flow as I am in project scope management, and I had to give up on a few essential mechanics that I had planned to design and implement in the first place.
So what remains is mostly the witty dialog, haha. I am glad it passed most of you guys' sniff test. <3
