Good puzzle game! Took some thinking about, and it took me a while to get my head around the rules. Audio was EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious so definitely not one to open if you have headphones on, but the gameplay itself was good!

Really fun game. A bit easy due to the health recovery, until my hits stopped registering - looked like maybe hitting into too many enemies pushed me too high or something like that, so my shots were just going over them?

I’ve played around a lot with random bits of game dev ands various engines before but I’ve never packaged what I’ve made into an actual game-shaped package before, so that was my goal with this game jam. It’s not GOOD by any means, but it feels good to just do something dumb and actually have a cut-off point where I have to draw a line under it and say “This is done, submit it”. Hopefully give me the motivation to do a bit more!

Good game! I found the best incredibly cheesy strategy was just to wedge everything between the wheels of the van. I’ll be sure to use this knowledge when I next move house.

This is really cool and really creative - I love how bizarre the puzzles get, but while always being fair and clear about what you need to do and just stepping up over time.

Would love to see more!

This feels great to play, I love the puzzley aspect of it. I’d be interested to see what other directions you can think of going with this, because this is super solid for a 5 hour game! Were all of the assets created in that time? The art looks great!

I love the narrative style, and absolutely love the art style - how long did all that take?

The pacing was a little on the slow side, even for the emotional weight it was clearly conveying, there were still very long segments between each text that felt like they could have been shorter. Overall a nice peaceful journey though!

Relatable tbh.

Amazing game, love this idea - took a while to get my head around and experiment, but this is extremely cute and weirdly stressful when the wall is approaching and you’re desperately spinning for the right colour to move forward. Really enjoyed!

I know right?

Nice game! I do wish the timer were longer because it was a little too easy to get to the point where it doesn’t feel like I could get much higher since I’m jumping as soon as I land, but for a nice showcase of a simple mechanic this is really solid. Although the row with 4 platforms does hurt my brain a bit!

Very cool puzzle game! Nicely designed so that it’s possible to figure out the rules if you’re paying attention, although I was definitely trying to overcomplicate them at first. Love a nice simple puzzle game!

Nice concept! Finally I can fulfil my olympic tea balancing dream. And weirdly difficult to mash with one hand while carefully balancing with the other. Took me a while to figure out you had to actually drink the tea, but that’s more me not following instructions.

I love this, as a big fan of the growing Exit-8-like genre. Very ambitious project to do in 3 hours! The anomalies I saw were good in variety as well. I ended up clipping through a wall and falling under the level. Obviously an anomaly, right? Couple of immediate points:

  • Some of the anomalies must be EXTREMELY subtle, because I definitely inspected everything and was convinced there was no anomaly, so I’d be curious to know what I missed.

  • On the other hand, the lighting is a bit glitchy in places, to the point that sometimes I thought there was a light flashing anomaly when it was normal.

Would be cool to see if there’s a unique spin you can add to this concept!

Nice simple little game! Would love to see how you keep building on this now you have some of the base platform mechanics down.

If I had to provide one point of advice it’s try to avoid spawning players right next to a pit when they enter a new area, that was by far where most of my deaths came from, because I was holding right when entering the door.

I went for the alternate ending where instead of the beach, Dolphin Boy instead goes out of bounds over the grass. Very relatable narrative, love it!

Fun little game, although the intended solution was WAY harder than just spam clicking without getting the fire, since it doesn’t do THAT much more damage than the spear on its own. I also didn’t really feel like the ice had any effect on my momentum.

Cool concept though! And I like the demogorgon sprite.

Horses with moustaches, very distinguished.

Great game! I did have a panic when I saw “5/2” trying to figure out if 2.5 was even, until I realised that was in fact a minus sign. The hardest part of this was definitely parsing the difference between subtraction and division at high speed! The hit box also caught me out a few times of swinging early even though the hitbox looks like it should have hit, so I’d recommend a bigger hitbox.

Other than those two little things, this was a real fun game!

Did you even do the sunset in the background within the time limit, or was that premade? Because the game has a real nice palette overall, and that’s some very pretty pixel art.

Boy, that sure was a great adventure! I hope everyone's okay back in Tucson and nobody's going to be wanting anything else from me. 😄
