No, my friend, I am not an AI, I am already discussing this topic privately with spar0w.

Hi spar0w,

I saw you're open to translations (and that Big Bad Dogs already has a Chinese version) — I'd love to offer a Spanish (Latin American) one.

I do context-aware translation — it keeps names and slang intact and nails the stuff generic MT ruins: idioms ("friends with benefits" → the natural "amigos con derechos", not a literal calque), casual text-message tone (I kept "wtf" as slang), and each character's register (the Garage Owner stays gruff). You'd have full control and could edit every line.

A few lines I translated as a free sample:

"Ever heard of friends with benefits?" → "¿Has oído hablar de los amigos con derechos?"

work wife ❤️ → esposa del trabajo ❤️

"Go bring your lady to work... stop wasting my time." → "Ve a llevar a tu chica al trabajo... deja de hacerme perder el tiempo."

I also flagged one call for you: "Biker Boy" — I'd translate it "Motoquero", but you might prefer keeping the English nickname for style. Your call.

No cost, no strings — I'd love your honest feedback, and whether Spanish is something you'd want (I saw players asking for it!). The black-and-white biker aesthetic is killer.

Best,

Rampo

Totally understand — thanks for the kind reply! A Cup of Dreams is lovely, and my offer stands if you ever decide to go multilingual down the line. Best of luck with the full release!

Hi! I watched the demo trailer for Missing: The Late Night Rice Noodle — the Phnom Penh night atmosphere is incredible, and I love that you already localized it into English yourself.

I do context-aware Spanish translations for indie games — it keeps names and cultural terms intact (I'd keep Num Banh Chok as-is, of course) and handles the tricky stuff generic MT ruins, like idioms: "blood is thicker than water" → the natural Spanish "la sangre tira", not a literal calque.

I translated a few lines from your trailer as a free sample, and I even flagged two judgment calls for you (the song lyric, and whether to keep the "blood" imagery literal for the horror tone). To be transparent, I'd be translating from your English version. Would you be open to me sending the sample over? I'd love your honest feedback — and whether Spanish is something your audience has asked for.

Beautiful, atmospheric work!

Just played Day 1 of Everybody Loves Eddie — the creepy-sitcom vibe is so good, that "S02E07" framing had me hooked.

I do context-aware Spanish translations for indie VNs — it keeps names and tone consistent and gets the little things right (e.g. "Thank goodness" → the natural "Menos mal", not a literal translation; "THE MISUNDERSTANDING" → "EL MALENTENDIDO"). You'd stay in full control and could edit every line.

I translated a few of your lines as a free sample and even flagged one judgment call for you (the "You?" speaker name — I kept the second-person feel as "¿Tú?", but that's your call). Would you be open to me sending the sample over? I'd genuinely just love your honest feedback — and I saw someone already asked about other languages, so there might be interest. Amazing work for a solo dev!

Just played the demo — such a cozy, relaxing vibe! I do context-aware Spanish translations for indie VNs (keeps character names and tone consistent, and gets the little details right — like "juntas" instead of "juntos" for Jennie and Stacy). I actually translated a few of your lines as a free sample — would you be open to me sending it over? Would love your honest feedback, and I'm curious whether your players have asked for a Spanish version. Either way, lovely work!
