  1. To me, the grappling hook feels pretty good. It was hard to know where I was going sometimes. It felt like it was too much force but other times wasn't enough. Getting through the tighter spaces was a little difficult at times. I was also jumping off some of the bumpy geometry on the walls. A cool-down might make it really challenging but could be fun to play with.
  2. It might be fun to have some enemies, but nothing do difficult. Maybe they can bump you off the platform you're on? But I think that the volcano would have to be a little bit bigger for that to work well.
  3. I die probably 5 times right off the bat. I thought it was fast but as soon as I got further from it, it didn't feel like a threat.  But since it's hard to see it can be hard to tell when it is close to you.

Overall, I really like your game. It's fun! It was hard for me to know where the lava is and what it looked like. The grapple physics confused me at times. But nothing game-breaking! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

  1. I thought the length of each in-game day was perfect. It made it very stressful and made me feel like I had to keep moving to stay alive.
  2. The amount of time before your oxygen runs out was good. I think if it was any longer it would feel like a chore and if it was any shorter it would feel unfair.
  3. The controls were intuitive, it was a little hard at first to tell where I was shooting. I got a little confused with the events. I didn't understand at first the sound that was playing every so often was the events happening. I also didn't understand that I needed different items to interact with the fire and so forth. It also wasn't very clear when I could steer the ship. Maybe having a cooldown or something above it would be helpful. Also, I experienced a bug with the fire event. It spawned outside of the ship and there really wasn't anything I could do about it. It felt like I could also ignore the fire since I didn't take damage or feel like it affected my surroundings
  4. Honestly, the enemies were kind of easy for me. They didn't really feel like a threat.
  5. The drop rate was kind of low. I only got maybe one drop I think in my four or so encounters with them.
  6. I thought the game was fairly intuitive. Some things that might help would be the rest of the character animations, as well as a more clear idea of where my gun was pointing? It also might help to have like an empty slot or a prompt to tell the player that they need a specific item to do something. But I thought it felt really good and fun!
  7. On a scale of 1-10 for difficulty, I would say it was a 6ish. It felt mostly stressful to me with how much was going on and how fast the time moved.

Overall, I think it was pretty fun. Some things need some tweaking but nothing felt game-breaking. I like the different events, but I would try and give them some weight so it feels important to complete them sooner rather than later. But regardless, it's pretty fun, and I can't wait for the finished product!

  1. It was fairly simple for me to figure out how to place towers. However, it wasn't very clear to me how far my towers could shoot. I like how you could see their range when you dragged the towers in. But sometimes it felt like enemies were in the range of my towers and they wouldn't shoot at the enemies. This mainly happened in the higher round for me.
  2. I thought the stuff was self-explanatory. I like how it's not very cluttered, and the stuff that is there can be minimized.
  3. The difficulty was pretty good. It felt like it naturally got more and more challenging. One idea might be to have one of the larger enemies come in as a mini-boss on round 5 or so? But if you left it as it was I think it would still be a really fun game!
  4. It was hard for me to tell most of the towers had health. I could tell easest with the drone tower, but the rest I had no idea what their health was.

Overall, I thought it was super fun! I can't wait for the finished product! I think I encountered two bugs? One is that the Leviathan would go through my towers and go straight to my colony. I didn't think this was supposed to happen because it just went underneath all of my towers. The second bug that I think I encountered was when some of my towers got destroyed. After they were destroyed, the tile turned red and I couldn't place a tower on that tile for a while. I wasn't sure if this was a feature or not. It made planning more challenging for sure. But regardless, I had a ton of fun playing y'all's game.

Hi! Great game! I really like the athletic and the main menu screen! A couple of critiques, first the hitboxes felt a little strange to me. the player felt like they had a large hitbox but the enemies' hitbox was smaller. Not a huge deal but it didn't always feel like I got hit. I do think adding some sound would go a long way to help indicate to the player if they hit an enemy or an enemy has hit them. But adding sound could take a while so only if you have time. Also when I loaded into the level the screen didn't quite fit. The left side was cut off on my end, not sure if that's just me though. But the movement feels really good, and I look forward to seeing what y'all have next week.

Hi! I thought Arm-ageddon played really smoothly. I struggled at first because I didn't go to the games page to find the controls. I couldn't figure out how to swap arms without reading the instructions. I spent some time pressing keys on the keyboard to try and do so. Perhaps ether having left mouse shoots one weapon and the right shoots the other or have the swap weapon on the keyboard? Besides that, it was really fun and I really enjoyed the music. Did yall make the music?
