Yes that would make it a bit more obvious. Thank you for the feedback!

That’s a fun one! I understand the rules, but I think I have some mistakes in my answers because I can’t find the solution just yet. Or I don’t understand how to work the last puzzle.

Nonetheless, I liked it! Good job.

Thank you for playing my game!

No. There are two artifacts related to your grand-parents: the newspaper article about the house fire and the love letter. They were there for lore purposes.

If I expand on the game I have ideas concerning the overarching storyline

Amazing game, with lovely environments! I always had a hard time with old text-based puzzle games like Hugo but this one was good because it was more constrained.

Congrats on the submission.

Thank you, I really appreciate it! The workable space was a bit small but I wanted the player to have the feeling of “too many articles to look at”. I had an idea to have boxes you had to open to take out articles and that you could used to organize yourself, but I ran out of time since I only decided to participate in the jam in the last week.

I liked it a lot! Congrats on the submission.

The story was nice and the mechanic fits well. Impressive artwork for such a small jam. High-quality all around.

Good job on the submission!

Cool mix between figuring the different elements for each victim and the spatial puzzle it creates.

Liked it a lot! Lots of talent in the team.

Good job on the submission!

Clever puzzle! The artwork is lovely and so is the entire presentation (UI, music, story).

Congrats on the submission! I liked it and design-wise it was very original.

Good job

Really, really cool concept for a deductive game. I like what you did with the settings for the errors and the genuine mistakes suspects can make. I’m sure being interrogated is stressful and that it often happens.

I left a bigger comment on the game’s page itself, but I want to say here congrats on the submission! I look forward to playing the rest of it.

The idea is neat and the story is interesting and engaging. There are some riddles that I honestly could not figure out and got by accident - notably the very last one. Even knowing the answer - and I was looking in the right spot - I can’t figure out how I could reach that conclusion.

Nonetheless, it was a good experience and the game as a lot of potential! Keep up the good work.

Nice game, and using Google Slides to boot! I didn’t find any bugs whatsoever.

Congrats on your submission!

Lovely little game with a developed lore.

Nice one! As others have said, the vibe is great. The story and the way it developed was gripping and focused enough that I wanted to continue and discover the end. Also thank you for letting me continue after I killed myself!

Congrats on the submission!

Cool game! I liked the style and the music / FX. It brought everything together nicely.

Played your game and here are a few suggestions:

  1. Stop the camera from moving when in the inventory. It makes it harder for the player to orient themselves.

  2. I would not mention that there is a twist ending in the description :)

Congrats on the entry!

Posted my positive review on the game page. Here are some feedbacks:

  1. I would have liked to have a bit more of space around the answer space. In the third level it was too easy to block yourself and having to re-arrange blocks around to reach a certain spot.

  2. I feel it would be better if your cursor would stick to the block you are currently dragging. Right now if you hit another block, the one you are dragging stops but your cursor continues and it goes on another block, you start dragging that one.

Very cool concept. Congrats on the submission!

Alright that was fun and funny. The concept has a lot of potential!

I submitted my comment on the game’s page itself.

Congrats on the submission! I enjoyed it a lot.

That was a neat intrigue! I have played Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective before as I own one of them. It was a nice homage and in the same vein for sure, although in a cyberpunk setting.

I finished the game with 70 points - got all the answers but visited 15 links.

Keep up the good work!

I played the game and I have a few comments.

  1. While clicking on things, there is a lot of flashing of sprites. Also when clicking on the silhouette, most of the times it would also click on the first person and the game would end.

  2. It is not clear if I’m supposed to find the murderer, or the victim.

  3. Sometimes a bag of powder would appear instead of the eviction notice. It did not seem to serve any purpose. The eviction notice seemed to be important to win the game, so having it missing was an issue.

Congrats on the submission.

I liked the game. It was quick to play, impressive considering it was made in Google Slides. There is a "bug" where sometimes when you click the back button it clicks on the detective on the right at the same time. Not sure if it's possible to add some sort of "wait" before registering new clicks in Google Slides.

Congrats on the submission.

Nice little game, especially on Google Slides.

The names on the wall are the scrambled names of Bertha's grand-children.

Nice throwback to Clue!

Good luck on the project! I will be following closely, I really enjoyed the demo.
