looove that breakbeat! it creates a really nice sense of movement and contrast with the slow-moving strings in the arrangement. the atmosphere really deftly replicates the feeling of freezing winds and frost. good stuff!

very cohesive, while simultaneously keeping things varied and interesting. Personal favorite is "Soul of Summer"- that guitar work reminds me a bit of Robert Fripp! Lovely stuff

gotcha! yeah agreed, I also use Logic and their midi instruments blow me away sometimes

really love how you created an environment with these songs- complete with entering and exiting a minimart in "Kickin' Leaves." Plus, it's refreshing to hear some compositions based around guitar

really lovely, cyclical composition, which ties into the seasonal theme really nicely. Plus, major Philip Glass vibes! and I'm a sucker for that.  Great sax and clarinet work!

very full and professional-sounding compositions. I particularly like the Monet paintings for the artwork- that taps into the idea of time passing in a way that's fresh and interesting :)

Moon-theme solidarity! love the variety of the compositions, and the productions realll nice. the pixel art for each track is a nice touch too. "Super Flower Blood Moon" is buck wild! In the best way.

side question: is that you playing sax? It really sounds like live recorded sax rather than midi. Regardless, it really elevates these tunes!

really love the synth sounds on this, and the way they interweave. and I second the opinion on the drum sound- it really helps drive things along while simultaneously keeping things chill. great little tune!

Really loved what I heard of this over the course of the jam, and the finished product doesn't disappoint! From what I've seen, you're great at these sort of genre exercises, and this captures everything that's great about chiptune music. Really tight compositions with an emphasis on catchy melodies, & high energy throughout. "Sweat and Steel" is a highlight. So good!

this is one of my favorites of the jam- really hits a sweet spot with calming, ambient textures and solid melodic and harmonic development. it creates a vibe but does a lot more than that too! great production and instrumentation too! well done

the production is really great and the use of samples is really unique and interesting. really great track!

really nailed the feel of Hollow Night in the piano-heavy arrangement, and discordant strings add a new, exciting element.

lol I have the same problem with JRPGs these days! I usually get to the part right before the endgame and just dip out. Chrono Trigger included! I've definitely spent more time listening to the OST than actually playing the game

Love how this blurs the line between cover and tribute. Really great variety of instrumentation, and I love the moments where elements from the battle theme pop up. Really great work!

very nice orchestration! love the transition into the classic Final Fantasy arpeggiated theme at the end ;)

very nice! the bridge is my favorite part too, it really brings the song to another level for the coda. good choice!

The Demon's Souls OST is one of my favorites, so I was excited to listen to this one. Did not disappoint! They all stay true to the energy of the originals while also adding something new- like we're in Boletaria but there's a glitch in the matrix.

Definitely feel the Portal inspo, makes me want to jump back into those games. I love the shift into 3/4 in the latter half of the song, really gets the blood pumping!

Haven't played this game yet, but it's on my list. This makes me want to play it even more! Nails those chiptune sounds but with a fuller, more modern production style, and it's the best of both worlds. Plus that tempo shift rules! definitely sounds like a train shifting into overdrive. Nice work!

really love how clear the production is here, the instruments really snap together into a groove that is indeed truly HOT

thank you for the kind words on the music and the great feedback!
