Description
There's a planetary system composed by 4 planets orbiting around an asteroid where scientific research is constantly running. This asteroid does not have any kind of life nor fertile soil, which means that the only way to sustain people in there is by sending food produced in the 4 planets around.

Each of these four planets responds to a unique meteorological attribute, that is to say: each one of them lives constantly in a specific season, being Privam the spring planet, Invya the winter planet, Onot the autumn planet, and Veran the summer planet.

The thing is, the scientists that were sent to the asteroid came from different planets so their organisms need the corresponding food only their planets can produce in order to survive. And here is where the player comes in. Their role is to plant and harvest different aliments in the four different planets and send them to the asteroid for the researchs to keep running.

There's a menu track for the menu, one track for each planet, and one for when the food arrives to the asteroid.

This is more like ambient music and I used REAPER as my DAW :D

Message from the artist:
I imagined that it would be nice for the game to have very ambient tracks to just plant and relax, enjoying the cosmic food you are harvesting :)

Theme:

Story of Seasons

How does it fit the theme?
The game is about planting and harvesting in different planets. Which means: the game is about plants. And something about plants is that they are very affected by the time and seasons.
So having four planets for seasons where you plant plants fits the theme, I think...

this is one of my favorites of the jam- really hits a sweet spot with calming, ambient textures and solid melodic and harmonic development. it creates a vibe but does a lot more than that too! great production and instrumentation too! well done

Thank you so so much!

This was a really interesting idea, and I think you did a great job of blending the idea of a chill farming game with a sci-fi setting with this soundtrack. The little sound design nods were a really nice touch too.

You managed to make a soundtrack that blends 2 of my favourite genres, thank you!

Developer

Wooow, thank YOU for listening and saying such nice things :D

I'm not completely sure what you mean by "sound design nods", can you explain?

By the way I like your pfp ^^

These are so relaxing and chill, great job! I also like your choices for the names of the planets

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The names came from the way the seasons in spanish are called. Winter is "Invierno", Autumn "Otoño", Summer "Verano", and Spring "Primavera"

That's what I thought! I wasn't sure if it was Spanish or one of the similar languages, Italian, Portuguese because of the way you changed it, but I recognized the words

One of the best I've heard so far. Incredibly relaxing. It's got beautiful, organic sound design and field recordings and includes both warm and cold tracks. This is great work. A stand out for me for sure

This means a lot to me ^ ^ Thank you so much!
