Thank you very much! We'll try our best :)

It's hard to put into words how great it feels to read your words, thank you very much for phrasing that and sending us a comment and feedback! :) It means more than you would know!

We do plan to release a patch after the jam to fix and add a couple of things, hopefully subtitles, too.

Thank you very much! :)

Thank you for the feedback! :) And you pretty much saw the whole game once you completed the loop, we only had time for one, really, despite having plans to add more variation to each run. About your points:

  • Haha it was a big eye-opener for us as well, it made a huge difference in the aesthetic of the game :D
  • Very true - albeit the voice lines were intentionally chopped up, sometimes leaving vital information out on purpose, subtitles would have been nice and hopefully post voting period we'll find a way to include them
  • Thank you and I'm glad someone noticed the link to System Shock as well, even though I did not outright think of that when recording and editing them :D my subconsciousness had to be hard at work, though, as I love both the original and the 2023 remake to death
  • Hahahah, yeah xdd
  • And am glad to read people's reactions as that small bit was amongst the last things we added and I'm glad we did haha

Thank you again for the kind words and the feedback! :)

Those are some big words - thank you so so much, it means a lot! :)

Hahahah thank you! :D

Thank you very much! :)

I personally dislike jumpscares a lot, they take away from horror in a big way the way I see it, especially in mainstream horror. Jumpscares should be a byproduct of an already oppressive and immersive environment, rather than the cheap overused go-to-tool that they usually are sadly. If tension works well, the player can get scared by even the sound of a twig - then you don't need to use jumpscares at all haha

Thank you for your kind words and feedback, they're very much appreciated! :)

I personally believe the movement speed is a bit too slow sometimes, and the main reason behind this was that the whole game was designed under the span of a day so that we would have as much time as possible to execute it and make it happen - which resulted in some bad design choices, such as the staircase filled with 3 long voice lines for which the only solution by the time we discovered that as a problem was an artificial slow down to the player (which to be fair, is not really a great move or fun mechanic, though i guess it works as a last resort haha).

I'm glad the prompts lead you as intended, it was critical to get the player's attention as much as possible given the house's shifting nature and the overall dark environment.

And no, you cannot break the loop and the game is repeating endlessly as intended. :) + you are absolutely correct with your assumption.

The protagonist is stuck in an endless limbo of repeating forgetfulness and rediscovery of love, joy, pain, regret and powerlessness. The voice on the phone is the ex lover of the protagonist who, despite how much he loved him, grew emotionally and physically tired of taking care of the protagonist, especially once he was hurt by him due to his (purposefully unnamed) conditions. The house is quiet, has a bunch of boxes and no sign of life as the caller had left long ago, leaving behind only a few hints and pieces of memory. Every time the loop starts, the protagonist, much like the player for the first time, discovers all there is visible and audible, but something much deeper, much darker, and much more tragic that one cannot grasp as clearly as a picture or rose in a room also surfaces. The player's realization at the end that the game has restarted is unique, as the protagonist does not have that luxury, however it is fun to read and hear from multiple people that they were unsure whether the game ended or not. That was semi-intended, as the confusion it harbors fits with the confusing nature of the house, its caller and protagonist. :)

Thank you for your kind words and feedback, they're much appreciated! :)

Haha that is fun to read :D That little sound effect was amongst the last additions and I'm glad we added it!

I didn't outright say what condition(s) the main protagonist has because I wanted to avoid misrepresentation of any serious conditions since I did not have enough time to do ample research, however in general I would say the protagonist has memory loss and anger management problems which are way out of their control.

Thank you so much! :D

Thank you very much for your feedback and your time, your words mean a lot to us and they're really good to read. :)

What a charming little game! The visuals, sounds and the music are simply exceptional, and it feels really good to control, too, especially the drifting which someone else also pointed out I saw.

It has so much character, I wish this game would become a full experience one day, I would definitely play it. :D

I LOVE the Drift King and the Fast But Wild car - the latter at some point was on two wheels from how hard I breaked the first time I drove it which was really funny haha

The way ghosts look is also really cool, I love the many tiny details you put into this. Incredible game. :)

Thank you very much, we appreciate it a lot! :D

I am beyond humbled, we appreciate your feedback more than you'd know. :)
Thank you so, so much! And yes, you are right and thank you for the tips as well! After the voting period, I plan to release a patch with some fixes and I'll experiment with the subtitles.

Simple but clever and visually stunning game! :)

A bit too difficult to master but once you do, it becomes pretty fun! It's also impressive how many options you could add to the menu, as well as how coherent the whole experience is.

The only complaint I have is that I wish the music didn't restart every death, as I had to die a lot to figure out how to succeed relatively more than fail haha. Cool game, you should be proud!

Pretty clever, especially the subtitle syncing. It works really well since it felt completely natural! :D

Wow, big words - thank you so so much! :D

And it's great to see someone caught the connection between the title and its Greek connections. You're the first one we know of haha!

What a creative little game! Reminds me of the likes of Narbacular Drop and Tag: The Power of Paint.

I loved the whole game from the visuals, to the sweet melody (which is actually really catchy :D), the progression, the different music boxes and their functions, and the small additions like the text animations, the options and the fact that you even added a language option. Wow!

The only complaint I can think of is that I wish it was 'E' or a button closer to WASD to get the next text at the bottom instead of 'Enter' but that's a really minor issue.

Great work! :)

Thank you so, so much! :)
And yes, I agree with you on the subtitles - they would have helped a lot especially given the distorted nature of the lines, but sadly we ran out of time to implement something like that. Maybe post jam ratings, haha :D

Everything I said was honest and came from heart, I mean them! :)

The voice over was okay, really! It did the job it was supposed to do and I chuckled every now and then, even, especially because they felt really aware of my actions haha.

Great work again and I want to thank you for being so expressive, also - it means a lot to those whose projects you leave a comment on, believe me, your words get engraved into the sweet memories of the creators who encounter you, that I'm willing bet any nickles on. :)

Great sport!

Aaah, gotcha! :D Clever!

Really impressive that you got proximity voice chat and overall multiplayer work this well! Truly outstanding, worked without a single issue. Incredible. :D
Gameplay was also fun and quick to understand. I don't know where the brick should be put though, but that's my only complaint, really nice game!

Thank you! :)

A pretty unique game with some real clean and pretty presentation.

I love that you have to draw the loops at a given speed, that caused me to focus even more and the satisfaction from seeing the loop working with the tight turns and small spaces I had is incredible! :D Showing the constellations after level completion is also a really nice touch.

The apple level was my favorite! I also appreciate the level skip button, it's good for those who get stuck too long on a level and want a new challange + they can always go back and try the ones they skipped anyway, which I did and it was even more fun with this additional freedom of choice. :)

Oh, and I found the audio to be really helpful and satisfying, and loved the voice lines - the voice reminds me a lot of Barony. :D

To put this together in such a short time is an incredible achievement! The whole game works fine, is confident in what's doing and what it wants the player to do, the tutorial is clear but already offers a challange which is great as its sets the tone very well right at the beginning along with telling the expectations to the player clear.

Good job!

Thank you for your kind words! :)
Yeah, we were scratching our heads a little with giving away that information, but I am glad that it worked out for you in the end!
Thank you for playing our game ❤

Words cannot describe how much your feedback means to us.

Thank you very, very much for writing that, your lines made my heart warm! :)

MOEBIUS INFINITOOOOOOOOOOO!

Super fun game, feels really good to play and has so much character. :D I LOVE the sound and music design, especially that the music changes with the boosts! I really appreciate the shadows, too, especially that there is more than 1 like in other games, makes it feel really lived in just a few loops in! The whole space and the track is very impressive, also, and the cherry on top is that you can choose your ship in the beginning.
My only complaint is that until you learn the track better, you can't really see on upward hills if there are any boosts or slowdowns over the hill, but once you do enough loops that stops being a problem.

My best time was 00:32:70

Exceptional game! :)

Wow, what a unique and fun game!! I really appreciate how noticable the upgrades are and that they don't increase things by 0.1% or something but with actual, visible growth. :D The visuals are super clean, simple but brilliant, the progression is awesome, the researched items are funny and the overall game has so much aesthetic and character.

Really impressive work!

(7 m 37s :D)

Difficult at first but makes it worth putting in the effort to get good at it because it feels super satisfying once you know how to play well. :D I love the risk vs. reward with the scoring system also, and the game looks stunningly gorgeous!

Simple to learn, hard to master, but super easy to love. :)

Wow, exceptional! Feels and looks really good and polished, and I was surprised how different each start of a run felt. :D Incredible work!

What a fun game! We NEED more racing games like this, it's such a great idea and execution too, would love to see this as a full game one day! :D I love how chaotic it can get and how seemless the track generation is, I love the little car, the way it moves and tilts, and the music also kept me in the flow very well. Great job!

Thank you for your kind words and the feedback, it means a lot to us! :D And thank you for playing!!

Really satisfying little game, I love how many different cards you have and the freedom to experiment with them as you like. I love how it gets faster the more loops and multipliers there are, keeps one play even more because it just feels really good. :D

A fun little idea - I love the visuals and the moving the plane around, also appreciate the little particles and effects at the edges of the wings, neat little game! :)

Thank you for phrasing that, means a lot to us! :) And thank you for playing our game as well!

Thank you for your kind words! :D Means a lot!

Thank you very much! :)

Thank you for playing and for sharing that! :D

Much appreciated! :)
