If u are experienced enough in coding games u could try make a digital version of a ttrpg. Then cause of covid u can play online with people.

Im pretty sure any type of game is allowed as long as it involves anthro characters.
im not the host but the desc says any game allowed

So if we were to make a TTRPG, how would we go about submitting it so others can play?

So can we use like humans for enemies or roles that are really suited for anthros? Like in an rpg u meet different races, can some of those be human?

Ah ok. Will look into using Godot for 2d stuff then

I was using unity cause I code in c#. Is there a way to code with c# in Godot?

yeah i joined at the beginning and everything and had to use my much less powerful laptop as my desktops hdd just died. I lost everything.

My first idea was great and well planned for the time i had available, on my way to finish within 30 hours and then my laptop started slowing down so much in the editor and i couldnt carry on with the idea. by that time i only had 3 days left and had already made commitments based on the estimated completion time of the first idea.

So if anyone knows how to use tilemaps and stuff that doesnt just kill the performance of the editor that would be greatly appreciated. And i look forward to completing the next jam as this was my first one.

Sorry. I didn't get to check in time. Good luck though👍🏻👍🏻hope u have a good one

Have u found a teammate already?

I have been making small stupid games with basic mechanics. It would be nice to team up with someone who could help me learn new ways of doing things. It's also my first game jam and don't really know what to expect. Is it better to team up with someone or learn by yourself in a game jam?

Fixed

ahh thanks. I'll probably zip and upload to itch

im not even sure how to do this xDD

any pointers?

I think im going to do this thing. after making 2 really short games with no story and just getting mechanics right, i am ready to put that small amount of knowledge to use. It also forces you to learn new things. I have never used animations or music or sound in my projects so hopefully I'll be able to learn how to implement them in this. I say go for it, cause im sure there are lots of newbies here.

There is a bug on one of the levels where you cannot die. Will fix this in the next update.
