Thanks for the feedback and nice words jop! I've since worked some more on the minotaur (two legged) base and it's growing on me :D I'm also thinking about doing a couple of clothing items for existing species like sergal or rex :O

Alrighty then. We are RUNNING AWAY from other platforms in order to find ONE refuge left that doesn't endorse this and you chase us in here? Why is it so important, can't  you just leave us alone? WE ARE FLEEING. From you. Because you harm us.

So this project felt a bit too small to post about in the releases board, and..well, I have questions.

I make social VR avatars. They're built as humanoid character assets for unity, are usually kitted up with complete lookdev for unity 2019 built in RP and include basic viseme blend shapes for speaking and expressions. Is this an asset type that would interest the people of itch at all? Would you like tutorials on how to use them? Some kind of intro to social VR? Would there be any interest in using these assets for game dev not related to social VR? If so should I edit anything on them? I tried searching itch for similar products and found...one. So it doesn't look like this is very common here?

The first project I'm publishing here is a furry base model but I can honestly make anything...With gumroad causing a lot of people to flee the platform several of us are looking at itch as a possible replacement so I'd love to hear your thoughts on this kind of product.

Hm hmm, hi there!

I think my arrival here warrants some context. Today, the CEO of rival marketplace Gumroad (presumably) melted down on twitter in an epic show of embarrassment and I decided to go check out the rest of the internet. Now I'm here! The boss here seems cooler.

Coming from Gumroad, I am a technical artist that works in games as my day job but I like to make social VR avatars for fun. Sometimes I sell them. Maybe I'll also sell some shaders, game assets, and if I got some downtime maybe a small game or two, or something! I don't know about the itch community much so I don't know what you fine folks want :D

I'm looking for a replacement for Gumroad to sell digital assets after they melted down on twitter today about their ceo being a crypto guy. I'm way too tired at this point to get into a marketplace only to find out they're endorsing crypto/nfts, so has there been any official stance from itch.io on this? Thanks so much in advance!
