Thank you for your kind words, I'll definitely think about finishing it in the future.

Under FAQ it says:

Do I have to do everything myself?
Not at all! If you want to use public domain art/sounds or the like, that's entirely fine. And we encourage jammers to team up, too!

Fun and polished, good job. Definitely top 3.

Actually really polished and nice game, I have fun playing it.

And as Agent Amian wrote, good job making the game withing jam period, it's a nice polished game with horror elements and good story.

Simple yet fun and addictive.

Pretty good balanced and polished, but I don't see the interpretation of the theme, could you tell me more about it?

EDIT: but yea at the end of the day the game itself is pretty good, probably top 5 if not 3 in this jam and the only thing I would change it the default skybox, everything else is perfect.

This would go really well as a mobile game

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't make a comeback - when I lost fuel and picked up gas it was already game over, instead I would've liked to have seen some sort of comeback

If you have ever played Coldline (a pretty good game that can be found on itch.io, try it!), well, that's basically it but it's a fan-made spinoff where you actually change places with the USSR chairman who calls you at the start. You manage between telephone menus that would exist if the game was completed and try to figure out who you have to call, why, and how to stop nuclear missiles from dropping on NY. The number for dialing the Pentagon can be found on the USSR telephone.

The SFX are pretty good, and the game itself is interesting

Hi, I sent you a friend request on Discord

I don't believe that there is a big number of people that have VR headset, but you can still make a VR game tho.

It  will be announced on Blackthornprod's youtube channel

No, just Core.

You can, but i would suggest you to stick with just one team for better quality.

did you try Godot?

(1 edit)

You can use assets but not the code

yes

The theme is "A Different Planet"

Why wouldn't you

You can join

You can't do it on scratch but what are "different game engines"?

You can use engines like Godot, Unity etc.

Yes

In fact i am using godot too

BrUh https://streamable.com/2esv9g

It needs to be playable on windows

(1 edit)

Well i am not angrysmile, but the theme is "A different planet"

No, i just reply to other threads when i have time

A different planet

You can follow tutorials but you need to understand what code does if you want to make games

Copy and paste means just taking the code and not understanding what it does

I think you actually can't

(1 edit)

I believe so

I think yes

The real theme is A different planet.

When you see that the topic is sticky that means it will appear on the top of the community tab

(1 edit)

Make it and then name it (it will be easier)

i would suggest you to work on just one project because of quality

Here you go:

https://itch.io/jam/beginners-circle-jam-3/topic/932577/official-rules-feel-free...

Be sure to hit a "upload your project" or something like that before doing this (it will be available on main page of the jam when it starts)
