Saw this on kirbyhood's steam. Incredibly polished and complete experience for such a short jam.

Appreciate you playing and enjoyed the stream!

Hey, found this from Flizz8's stream. Really cool idea! There is great potential for expansion here.

41 is very impressive! That's the highest score I've seen for a player.

Best puzzle platformer of the jam for me so far! The controls took some getting used to for me. I would have tried place cube on left click, remove cube on right click, jump on space and w, and shrink on s if I could remap. But the sparkle and forbidden water effects are very pretty, I want to learn how to do stuff like that in godot. Also the 3d thumbnail art is great too! A 3D sequel would go hard. Great game!

Great game feel and loop. Pausing the game at the right time causes an MASSIVE jump, had fun abusing this strategy.

Wow I think this is the first save system I've ever seen in a jam game. And its just a long string. Thats so neat!

And the clicker part was fun too. There was never a dull moment

Such a smart way to utilize the mechanic! The AI is really well done, it doesn't feel cheaty or too dumb.
I actually whipped up the timer stopping game as a prototype early on in the ideas phase, then proceeded to spend too much time playing it!

Thanks for playing! Don't worry you're not the first person to have that issue. A lot of people working with minimalist laptop setups these days I guess.

Very clever and well executed. I like the grid based movement and the fact that you only turn when you actually take a step. My only nitpick is that I prefer when the game controls with only the keyboard that the UI can also be navigated with the keyboard.

Shoutouts to Mum!

Perfect amount of suspense for me, and such a great monster design! Well done executing such a cohesive experience with a team in such a short time!

Thanks again for playing. Loved checking out your custom engine and stream!

Thanks! My intention was that not being able to aim and move at the same time adds some nuance, but I agree that it can feel stiff. It can use some more tuning!

The water is just a case of placeholder art becoming final art haha

The mix of 2D and 3D works perfectly and the controls are smooth! I love the boat. Makes me want an open world sequel where you sail around and hunting and chasing sea monsters. I think that might be my new dream game...

10/10

Love the art style and tone! Amazing how much you did with such minimalist aspects and it was so easy to pickup and play. Perfect little jam game imo

Beautiful assets and usage of them. So impressive from a duo team. You guys must have such an efficient workflow!

Great execution of the idea. The operating system is very smooth and its cool that the platformer windows interact with each other. I think I submitted 4 games at once haha.

PEAK! Super well balanced and intuitive while still providing good "ah-ha" moments. Like realizing that draining fuel effects the weight balance. Very impressive work.

Great minds think alike!

Really great jam game. Easy to pickup with a nice difficulty curve. I think it was a good idea to have an ending instead of going on forever. Makes the player feel accomplished :)

Really clever and well executed. Trying to find a central point between as many targets as possible never gets old. A lot of potential here, like adding a cool targeting reticle and rag doll to the zombies!

Really liked the sense of scale of the boss! I had fun beating it up

Instantly fun and honestly the difficulty feels nicely tuned! Really enjoying all the Love2D games in this jam <3

This one should win!

As someone new to Love2d who also submitted a Love game this jam, this is inspiring work! I'm going to learn how to get rid of the pink boarders around the love.js build :) Well done!

Thanks! Really enjoying learning Love

Such great design to only use one button. I would have thought to use W for jump a S for fall, but this feels so much better and can easily work on all platforms! My only suggestion would be to add a short timer (like .2 seconds) before accepting inputs on the score screen because I kept accidentally skipping it from spamming the button. Otherwise, perfect little jam game!

This was the first jam game I've played that is just narrative and I loved it <3

Such snappy controls and feel. And the upgrades felt great too. Great game!

The kings of polish and scope have done it again! Its a good reminder not to get overambitious with scope on my own jam games when I see a team of pros make something so simple and addicting. Super fun game as always, Jamadoo!

Awesome puzzle game, and so well implemented! The ability for loops to wrap around the screen and how you can shift left and right is brilliant.

Love how you used "loop" in both the combat and the idea of replaying the same level over again. While the latter was a very common interpretation of the theme, the former is such a unique and interesting way to do turn based combat. As others have said the turn loop is something that would be really cool to expand on in the future!

Great job as always Jamadoo! I see this going far. True legends of the game jam game!

Super clever and polished puzzler. I can easily see this in the top 100!

Impressive amount of puzzles! Also such a great use of the kenney assets

Love to see a shop game. Very creative to have the ice cream double as pizza sauce!

First time I've played a metroidvania from a jam. I'm so impressed with what you've pulled off. Loved it!

Final Score 2220. Tremendous art and such a great job adding juice and impact!

Pushes the boundaries of what I thought possible in a short jam! The 3D models are so so pretty

Simple mechanic well executed. Really enjoyed it!
