That was crazy! Nice job!

Nice game! love the visuals and the overall polish!

Hi PopSlash Games!

Sorry for the late response!

Of course we're in a twilight zone here. Maybe you can come up with a solution in which you don't shoot robots (I just assumed you would shoot them, please correct me if you plan something else) but disable them in some other way. Or even turning them into good robots that help you -> therefore you and the robots are stronger together?

Since this is a jam about peace and helping people we want to keep violence at a minimum.

Hi Chekisteg!

Please consider that this jam is supposed to spread joy and hope.  Since there's enough fighting in this world,  we encourage you to think out of the box. Of course it's a thin line (Super Mario jumping on a Goomba could be seen as combat).

I think it depends on the overall gameplay.  If your game mainly is about killing stuff, it won't be appropriate to the jams theme.

Just make sure that your game fits peace more than war.

If you'd like to discuss your idea, please reach out to us on our discord channel: https://discord.gg/8syHP2Db

Best of luck, Kev

Hi MGAMES!

feel free to join the Develop-To-Help Discord server! There is a dedicated channel to find team mates.

Hi there Dear GameJam lovers  🙋🏻‍♂️hope you don‘t mind me reaching out to you via this platform!
Brackeys was super fun and it is amazing how many people joined this experience!

Thats why we thought about a new type of Jam: a Charity Jam
I am part of a team that organizes such a Charity Game Jam to help people in the Ukraine Crisis. So if you would like to join or maybe spread the word, you are more than welcome! Just do what you do best and help with that!

Here is the link to the Jam: https://itch.io/jam/develop-to-help-ukraine

Hope to see you there! 😊 also, take the chance to vote for a topic 🙌

Best, Kev 🧑🏻‍💻

Thanks a lot! We are really happy to read that you liked it and we also agree - it is a little too hard :D within the Game Jam we just didnt have enough time to really play it
Thank you!

A really nice game :D but I did a lot very quickly. I guess I need more practice.

I like the art and also the sound effect when you die :D

Good job!

Oh thats a pity- we developed so many systems and bugs happen now - but we learn a lot from it. Thank you for reporting! :) ALSO, amazing that you liked the concept of the music! We put a lot of effort in developing an atmosphere :)

Rated, already yesterday :) I really liked your Idea!

thank you! :)

Oh wow, you just reminded me on that point on my ToDo-List that says "Restore health in save zone". Guess the time preassure made me forget it. Thanks for your feedback!

Very cool atmosphere, unique gameplay, nice graphics and sound. Overall a very nice game!

Haha thank you!!

Thanks for the nice feedback!

Thanks for the feedback, I will keep it in mind!

Reminded me of a game I made for college some years ago. I like it that you can upgrade different aspects of your ship.

Movement was kind of hard for me to figure out, since I expected the ship would always go where the nose points at - just as the one in my game did. Overall a nice game!

Eventhough I somehow liked your art style, because it is so nice and handdrawn, I think you can really improve here. Sometime you see where the backgrounds start over again and some gras things just look very different from the rest of the art.

But I liked you game! Congratulations! :)

can't remember the exact message, something about a missing method "questStart". Didn't got it a second time

fun twist on this theme! I liked it
I also liked that the character looks so weird :D

Very cool game wich gave me a portals vibe. Very good executed. Having to watch the intro all over again is a bit frustrating, but that's easily fixed. Congrats to your game!

Very cute little game - I played it through :) it was intuitive and the story was nice! Good music choice! Congratulations - you wrote you are only 17 - amazing job! :))

Nice graphics, nice music, nice gameplay. What else to say than nice game!

Keep on developing games!

Eventhough this game is quite simple it really catched me for some minutes :D i really liked it! it was easily understandable and due to the changes in the levels really fun :)

Very polished game! It has a very nice feeling, almost like playing a game of your childhood.

Good job!

dont miss this: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418990
hope you like it - everything, also music, was made by scratch and I thing it developed in a really nice small, round, story game :)

I like the idea of the fake walls! And its 3D - pretty amazing

Very cool! I loved to almost cinematic introduction to the game and the story! Great ending!

Very nicely done! Keep developing!

I really like the idea! :) nice graphics too!

I really liked the graphics, especially the UI-drawings of the characters! I got some kind of error message on a quest start, but I will definetly try again.

Very nice job!
